Evening menu limited and food obviously precooked and kept warm as main course arrived in less time than I could have cooked it. It was tepid too No tea and coffee in room Poor ventilation Unable to shut off noisy bathroom fan

Was surprised there was a hot tub and an inflatable trampoline in the fjord, and kayaking right from the hotel. We would've stayed an extra day if we'd known. Even now, we're thinking to return from the US next year and spend more time. The view was gorgeous from our fjord-facing room with balcony.

Would have enjoyed cooked vegetables at breakfast, as it's so hard to get true vegetables while traveling in Norway.

The dinner menu was mediocre, few options and what we reviewed for dinner did not match the English menu descriptions.

Fjord view is the best 👌 view I ever had in my life from my room balcony its so epic beautiful.

They have very less food variety in their own resturant they should included more fish and vegetarian dishes .

Ulvik is beautiful and the hotel is located by the Fjord, amazing view and it is very calm and peaceful there. the entrance is not very welcoming, however inside of the property it is very nice, historical, clean, stylish. Through the main lobby/reception you go straight to the Fjord side. stunning. We were able to check-in earlier, and came with our little dog - we paid for standard room only, planning to stay all day outside - however we got room with garden exit and Fjord view - very nice upgrade. everyone was lovely and polite. restaurant was nice, was pleasant to see local products on the menu and nothing deep fried or pizza :)

Just the outside of the main entrance, I was worried where are we going :) me, personally I love hotel’s breakfast. unfortunately here, the selection wasn’t big - maybe because we got there 7:10 am? but that was something I was sad about.

1. Its location was beautiful. 2. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. 3. The room was clean, and everything in it functioned appropriately.

The dinner options were extremely limited, though I suppose it’s better to make 1 thing well than many badly. And I did much appreciate their effort to find and deliver a second choice.
