Central location. Two very private, comfortable, adjacent rooms (the one-bed plus two-bed villas). The included hire car. Private BBQ(s) on our balconys. Rael & Tima’s hospitality & willingness to assist with any requests was perfect. Entertainment options via tv or dvd.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Cumberland Hotel and Spa, staying in the four bedroom house was a bonus.

Apartment was good but a little dated and not very comfortable. We booked as two single occupants so we were OK but 2 couples may find it too small. Apartment 3 layout is somewhat awkward with no internal dining table but other apartments onsite may be better. Apartment 3 needs refurbishing. Not really what we expected for a 4 star rating.

The water pressure was so poor, it wouldn’t trip the hot water system to operate. On our last day this meant cold showers. So much for 4 star luxury. The rental cars provided are well past their use by dates.

The location close to Burnt Pine shops and many of the restaurants is excellent. Tima, the manager, was very helpful with her advice and support. The range of facilities was very good although some are a bit dated

There are some older and newer rooms; try to get one of the newer ones. IT communications across the whole island are a bit of a problem so Foxtel, mobile phones, etc can be frustrating

The location was fabulous, close to Burnt Pine and village amenities. Lovely private space and room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having a rental car included was a bonus as they are a must on the island to get around, especially at night as it is so dark.

Cumberland Spa was close to town, easy walk to shops and cafes, though the Resort did supply a car for out use which was great. Also supplied a breakfast pack which lasted a few days. Beds comfy, bath was great. Wifi was available. Pool was small but warm. Tima was a wonderful host and helped us out with anything we needed.

The Spa part wasn't open but that was only because of a family emergency.

The starter breakfast pack was a welcome gesture. The staff were exceptionally friendly and happy to assist in any way. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is great. The room was nice and bed ok.

Upon check in we had to endure the manager ramble on and on as well as listening to all the other idiots checking in. That's an hour of my life I'll never get back! Then I was over charged for the insurance on the car. My room was meant to come with a bottle of sparkling wine and Devonshire tea, didn't get either. [con job]. Checkout was 10 am, at 9:55 the owner let himself in and started yelling at us to "get out now". Then when we returned the included car, he said as an actuation, oh I here there was trouble at the RSL. When asked what trouble he just said "I don't know" It was as if he was implying we had something to do with it but I quickly let him know, we never went to the RSL. Rude angry man. Plus, he had just walked in the previous night with his 2 dogs. I'm sorry, I don't like dogs and I don't want them inside the place I'm paying for. The spa pool is dirty and broken and the day spa was closed. Waste of time and money. My suggestion, find somewhere better.

Some of the outdoor recreation and sitting areas were not set up well for use.

Great unit with spa bath and outside patio. Car hire was included in the deal, which was really handy to start exploring the island. A Breakfast 'basket' was provided to enable us to eat in the morning without waiting at a restaurant.

The Unit was in need of some 'tlc'. The unit was very warm and lacked air-conditioning and enough effective fans (but this is Island wide issue, which is hopefully resolved once Tesla batteries have been installed).

Welcoming. Clean, tidy, comfortable beds, all kitchen facilities, location, breakfast provided for first day. BBQ handy in outside area that could be used. Tours organised easily.

Tima greeted us upon arrival at the resort. Tima organised and changed tours for us and was always available to assist us when required. Breakfast provisions in our fridge were a welcome treat as were the bananas we could help ourselves to which are grown on-site. Rental car was great and Tima was always happy to advise on best places to see. Great place to stay and beautiful, warm welcoming people. Love the Norfolk Wave!!!

Tima was exceptional. so friendly and happy to help. It was very central but not busy. The picnic backpacks were very thoughtful and useful. The breakfast starter pack was also thoughtful. Clean and comfortable and everything you need. Guest laundry is a great facility. Staff are great. The island makes up for any shortfall in your accommodation.

Whole resort needs maintenance. Everything is a bit rundown. There were no spa facilities and their website needs to reflect this. Pool area and public areas are old and not appealing at all. Again needs some investment and a general upgrade to reflect the prices. Guests should be aware that there are no outlooks from rooms. Also water pressure is hopeless.

Not as advertised; there is no swimming pool, just a large hot tub (not that hot), the massage shower was feeble, the fabulous spa pool in the photo is at a different property, there was only flower beds, no "gardens" or grounds except those dedicated to car parking.
