Staff were wonderful. So was our room. Views over the pool to the beach were gorgeous. Common areas such as the Verandah bar, buffet restaurant, lobby were lovely

Such a shortage of loungers! Even though the hotel was less than half full when we visited, it was very hard to find free loungers by the pool or on the beach. The hotel definitely needs to invest in many more. People stay in a hotel like this to enjoy the pool and beach. This is not possible if you can’t find free loungers. Beach was disappointing as it was impossible to swim at low tide and the water was murky.

Stunning hotel with an amazing, big pool and nice beach. Our room was really spacious and well-appointed with a huge bathroom. Food was good at all the restaurants, particularly the Terrace. Service was great as well. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would come again.

There are not quite enough deck chairs by the pool which means they all get taken quite early in the morning.

All staff attentiveness to our needs are highly exceptional good. They will always tried their best to fulfill our needs. Its so clean in every corner of the hotel.

Room cleaning service, especially on requesting to change the towels. We happen to just come back from breakfast and previously already made a call to request on changing all the towels, but when we came back to use the toilet, they happen to just left, when the towels is being unwrap to use..its still wet in the inner... was suspecting a miss here...so we requested to change another new one again

Couldn't swim in the sea due to jellyfish.

The staffs were very helpful. We had an issue with the room but the front desk receptionist, Ms Sudha and Ms Mariko assisted promptly to solve the issue. Another Malay gentleman named Zulkifri (I’m not sure if that’s correct) was also very helpful. He helped to apply ointment on my child. Breakfast, the ambience, the music, the swimming pool were all good and enjoyable.

The management should extend the swimming pool hours to at least 8pm. We were enjoying the sunset at 7.15pm and was told to vacate/leave the pool area because they need to close at 7pm. I believe people go to beach hotels with the intention to enjoy the evening sunset but closing the pool at 7pm defeats the purpose. I’d suggest the management to consider fumigating all the sofas and wooden furnitures periodically. Finally, about 15 feet from the beach shoreline into the sea, the sea bed was kinda mushy and feels like slimy to step on. It sucks your feet down. We don’t know what that was and dare not swim further.

Excellent on all fronts. Highly recommended and would be delighted to stay here again. The spa treatments, in particular, were amazing.

I like the breakfast there, there are many choices available for breakfast.

The buffet served was terrible and I did not expect the taste and quality of the buffet are so bad, it is not worth the money spent and I would not recommend the customer to go for the buffet served by the hotel.

This was our second visit to Langkawi and our second stay at the Danna, we loved it so much from 2018, that there was only one choice when it came to returning to Langkawi. Staff, facilities, rooms were excellent once again. Would've welcomed an upgrade as we returning customers but maybe next time.

the pool is amazing and the beach and view gorgeous lovely touches such as birthday treats and cool towels by pool charming and professional staff

if I went again I would book a harbour or beach view room - mountain view rooms get a little noise from the road the food was not for us overall - delicious but no Malaysian food for vegetarians which was a disappointment langkawi seems expensive- I did think the Danna a little overpriced

Very beautiful and quaint hotel. Excellent service from the staffs.

The information I had before arrival assured me that this would be a comfortable hotel with good facilities. The reality far exceeded our expectations. This is an elegant and luxurious hotel but that alone does not guarantee satisfaction. The Danna Langkawi delivered much more! Every aspect of our stay was superb.

We regretted not being able to stay longer!
