Bungalows had beach access. Restaurant was over the water with great ambiance. Refrigerator in the room was great.

Must leave key in the room to have air conditioner on. The bedding was a little tired.

Beautiful location, literally at the beach, excellent wifi (which is rare in Tahiti), food was good, fair price. Our bungalo came with a cat!

the bathroom was terrible… old and didn’t look clean, also we where three and they where only two big towels plus nothing much

*The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. *It was nice to watch the fish when you were having a meal. *The pier was a great place to sit and do nothing, watch the sunset or jump in the water

*The breakfast seem to be very expensive for fruit *No access to ice machine, the staff would give you ice but it would be nice to be able to get it when needed without bothering them. *Have kayak rental or other water activity rentals on site

The ambience, location, cute individual huts, pier, and being located right on the beach were a plus.

There was hardly any working wifi at all and there wasn't a pool. Though the venue walked right onto the beach, it's always nice to have a pool, especially at night.

rocks were slippery going into the water. i suggest wearing water shoes.

Location was ideal and the best bungalows were perfect and although ours wasn’t on the beach we had a view of it. Snorkeling was so good too. Staff are what makes the experience that more special.

Our room was not maintained well. Safe doesn’t work. had to request for a kettle. have to inform them about three light bulbs were not working. if there were bedside lights it would be great for reading.

rooster crowing outside door every morning very early but we got used to it! motivated us to get up early and enjoy the day.

housekeeping poor property tired and badly in need of upgrade. Two tiles were cracked near sliding door into property that cut our feet. no fresh toiletries were supplied daily, had to ask for toilet paper

Beautiful water views and snordering right from the hotel. Sunset photos were amazing. I had a large individual bungalow with a huge comfortable king size bed.

Room was simple, large and bed comfortable. Nice patio out front to sit on. Beautiful reef off hotel dock. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful classic Polynesian vibe, in Cooks Bay, the most beautiful bay in the world...

Every additional thing had a cost, food was quite expensive for what you got. I had to change my departure day to earlier, and could not do it through Booking.com for some reason, I called hotel and told them I needed to change my departure for 2 days earlier, I was told they couldn't do it online either, and not to worry, they'd do it at check-in. At check-in I was told I could not be refunded the money, it would be applied as credit in restaurant. Which they did honor, but as a single traveler, there was no way I could eat or drink that much food, so I ended up forfeiting quite a bit of money.

Tim is an angel and really fun and funny man. his laugh is infectious and a joy to hear every day.

Our bungalow was close to the lagoon with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and helped to direct us to activities. We enjoyed our meals at the over the water restaurant. We were walking distance from some places to eat and a local supermarket. We also had wifi and AC which made our stay very comfortable.

The bungalow were pretty minimal and the restaurant menu was also limited.

Sofia and Vanille were so very kind, warm, friendly, and helpful! They are both great assets to the Hotel. All staff were wonderful. We did not get the name of the maintenance/grounds keeper gentleman but he was also an exceptional person. The bungalow was quite comfortable and location perfect.

Free "breakfast" was only coffee, juice, and bread. Not a deal breaker though.

Beautiful location, Loved the restaurant / common area that extended into the bay. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Had a tasty buffet breakfast.

The property is tired and had a 80's kitch vibe. They could clean it up and simplify. It shows its wear and unfinished state. It appears little to no money is spent for improvements... wgomeever owns this property shojld either give it up or invest in it. You could see the potential to make it a real charming slice of paradise.

I liked the location set against the stunning view of Cooks Bay.

the food was good and the service was great. we snorkeled right from the dock at the restaurant.

unfortunately we were there during the "lockdown" so our entertainment options were limited, but that was certainly not Hotel Kavecka's fault
