Location, humble facilities but super warm and welcoming. Bed comfy, shower hot although the sulfer smell was strong. All part of the experience. Hot tub available too! Able to access tea and coffee 24 hour from the main office. Breakfast was very nice. Loved the Iceland twist with it. The gentleman who checked me in and solely worked the breakfast is genuine and cares about your experience. A+

We were upgraded to a private cabin upon arrival. Check-in was extremely easy and the cabin was cozy after a day of exploring. Very grateful for the staff here.

The view was astonishing, property was easy to find and close to the main road. Perfect spot for discovering this part of Iceland.

The cabin was very good and clean. Easy instructions for checkin. Great view from cabin and just a few minutes walk to the ocean behind.

Wonderful place to explore Western Iceland. Very close to Borgarnes, easy to do Snaefellsnes in one day and Northern lights at night. We got upgraded to a cabin, absolutely loved it. Friendly staff and comfortable stay. Thank you!

breakfast is not served in winter, that's not an issue as Borgarnes is near by, but it's good to know before booking.

Great location by the sea. Cabin is extremely well insulated, warm and no noise from the wind. Excellent construction.

Great location and as the weather turned for the worse some roads were closed to reykjavik, they let me stay inside, cups of tea and the TV until the roads opened a little later. Thank-you.

Great location just outside of Borgarnes. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds.

The location and landscape were great. Cottage was clean and there were everything we needed for one night.

A small place on the outskirts of town, rooms were ok, bathrooms could be a little bit bigger and more modern. Hot tub was a nice surprise. Breakfast was very decent considering it was only 8 euro extra :) Attentive and friendly service.

The Staff at Hafnarfjall went above and beyond during our stay! Not only did they upgrade our room but they had made a special note and congratulated us on arrival as we had just got engaged. Our room upgrade meant that we stayed in the largest room in the hotel, with a balcony and a beautiful view of the mountain and the room was massive with a TV (which had netflix!) and both of the gentlemen we spoke to at reception were so lovely and welcoming and helpful!
