Great hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is a bit out of town but we had a car so that wasn't an issue.

Very tired facilities. Parts rusty; bathroom needs revamp; needs a good strip and paint.
But most important - vastly overpriced! In the same region - other accommodation places 30% cheaper and in far better condition.

The room was clean and neat, location was perfect for where we needed to be. Easy access to get to, good parking facility. Staff were very nice and friendly. Quiet location, good amenities nearby. Easy check in and out.
The toilet seat in our room was broken at the hinge and sharp on the broken edge, should have been replaced when noticed by cleaning staff.
The bathroom was a bit tired looking, the shower gel had leaked out from its container onto the shower floor and made a big puddle, but no big issue with this as the bathroom was clean and neat.

The outlook
Builders starting work at the accommodation at 7am in the room 2 doors down from ours.
For the price we paid the standard was not at all adequate.

Location was great, clean, tidy. Quiet, except for the truck at 8 am Monday morning pumping sewerage?!
Lack of in room facilities. No plates in room?!? How are we meant to eat anything? Only water available was bathroom sink. Paid extra to have “kitchenette” which was microwave, kettle and toaster. No where to put prepared food or cut food, glass top table with not where to cut food. No chopping board or anything. Minimal utensils. Coffee machine with 1 coffee pod. We had to buy more, which is fine but as a couple staying 2 nights you’d expect supply for At least a coffee each, each day. It was ok but I would have expected more for the price, considering we paid for the “deluxe queen room”.

Staff were friendly and accommodating when you needed something
Cold shower when we left on last day, trouble connecting with internet on ipad each day, toilet didn't flush properly and had to do several flushes, had to chase up room service.

The motel is located on a large property with gardens around. Some traffic noise is heard, but not intrusive. Bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately we can hear the occupants of the next room. The curtains are difficult to close, and aircon old and inefficient for the room.

The spa did not work

We just needed somewhere to sleep, as we were attending a fully catered all day event. Room was clean and tidy, but maybe just starting to show its age. Was a little pricey, but there was very little else in Clare when we were booking.
The power sockets near the bed were limited... we could have the bed side lights and one (much needed) electric blanket working, but not both blankets at the same time.

Spacious room with kettle, fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking. Quiet location with all rooms on ground level. Continental breakfast available for $15. There was also 2 armchairs and a small dining table with 2 chairs. Multiple power points for appliances and charging technology.
Bathroom fan comes on with the light, a bit noisy.
