Nice to have the thermal pools with swim-up bar at hotel after hiking and activities each day. Much better than paying to go to crowded ones. Well-kept grounds with beautiful flowers. Saw wildlife daily including a sloth and its baby the first 10 minutes we were there plus birds, armadillos, frogs, etc. Usually prefer to eat local food outside of our hotels but we enjoyed the hotel restaurant so much we ate there all 3 nights! Very patient and helpful staff helped us plan a last-minute activity.

Location is nice if you pay for a junior suite it’s nice. The basic rooms are in definite need of facelifts. The swim up bar was nice. Very warm. Personal hot tub was lovely. Staff was exceptionally friendly
No one could bring ice to the room. No one to serve coffee at breakfast and there was very few fruit selections. The standard rooms are not great the junior suites are lovely. No shampoo conditioner in the room. No I’m site laundry service.

Nothing.
We found a toenail on the poolside benches, there was a bandaid, in the hot springs, the staff was extremely rude and did not accommodate change in reservation, food was horrible and very crapy, bathroom was very dirty and disgusting, there were ants everywhere, I even woke up to y neighbor vomiting.

The breakfast was really super good, they had a variety of food and it was buffet, the staff was friendly and helpful.
The thermal springs were not exactly what I was expecting for a hotel with "Thermal Springs" I think you can find better ones for a cheaper price somewhere else in San Carlos.

I liked the room, and the surrounding gardens. I particularly liked the 'chill out' room for reading. Breakfast was pleasant.
There were a few vegan choices for breakfast, but overall the range of choices over a few days became a bit repetitious. That's not to say the staff were anything other than friendly, or that the food hadn't been prepared in to any other standard than high.

The grounds at the property were beautifully maintained and wonderfully landscaped. The pool was nice but we didn't try the thermal pools. We did book a guided hike to the Mistico hanging bridges through the hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tour.
Our room was very comfortable and was right along a small creek where we were serenaded nightly by frogs. It was very quiet and secluded feeling, even though it was a large resort.
The hotel was in a good central location, with easy access to the town of La Fortuna by cab.
The food was just "ok". We generally tried to eat dinner elsewhere because we didn't like the only dinner we had at the hotel and it was very expensive for such a bland meal. And the servers at the restaurant were not always friendly or helpful.. The breakfast buffet would have benefited from more selections. The fruit and the made-to-order omelets were the only things I found worth eating.

The staff were exceptional. Everyone was very kind and went out of their way to help us with our Spanish that we’ve been practicing! The breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip. Hot springs were so great that we didn’t even visit any others.
The property was great. The room was slightly outdated but the AC and shower worked great and that’s what it most important to me.

My first room was close to the road, a lot of noise. Manrique was very helpful in finding another room. Then I decided to stay an extra night and was upgraded to a room with a private thermal pool which was excellent.
Road noise.

Amazing buffet breakfast. Incredible walk in pools and swim up bar. Great nature spaces to enjoy with birds. Really exceeded our expectations.
Room was big enough for 3 people but could have been a bit bigger or bigger beds if sharing with a partner (they were doubles)

everything about our stay here was exceptional. From the kind staff, fantastic food and drinks, and beautiful room with a private hot spring. Definitely upgrade your room to the king suite with a private pool if you’re staying as a couple! Breakfast was phenomenal, and all of the staff here were generous and kind. Can’t wait to plan a trip back!
Nothing! everything was great
