Nice village, Central Rorbu

We had a good time, but the following would have improved it: We should have been informed that there was no view ans that the rorbu is not on the waterfront, but overlooking the entrance of a block of flats/rorbuen. A bit noisy : every step from apartment above can be heard. No hair dryer

Good location

No blinds. Very thin walls

Location was good for getting to Svolvaer. Room size was decent, cute inside and had plenty of facilities (like for cooking). Walking distance to Skarungen which is well worth a visit for their sauna and hot tub!

Didn’t receive any replies to messages from the hosts on booking.com or texts (assume international restrictions) so had to call to find out what room we were in. No reception option so it was odd/impersonal to only have calling as an option to contact the host. We were in room 202 on the ground floor. Even though the Rorbuer seemed quiet in terms of occupancy, the room above was being used and you could hear everything upstairs. Even just walking around upstairs was noisy for us below. Was a bit of a shift in terms of quality and comfort vs other places we stayed at in Lofoten.

narrow bed, no queen size, only few stuff in kitchen

we did a reservation for a group of 5 people and when we got there we where told our reservation couldn’t get done properly because the apartment got flooded and they placed us in another apartment only for 4. truth being said they gave us a solution pretty fast and we where okay with that (they brought us an extra foldable bed)

3 out of 4 people found the beds comfortable, enough sockets, comfortable bathroom, the kitchen was well equipped but the pots and pans may be a bit too small to cook for 4, nice location in a pleasant town, straightforward check-in and check-out with no human interaction

Squeaky floors, not enough hot water in the boiler for 4 people, we couldn't close one of the windows

Clean, nice bed, good location, parking, great atmosphere.

Bathroom needs updating. It was raining all night and drops hit the terrase outside so loud, that I slept very poorly.

The veranda. The beds. The furniture in the rom.

The leak from the WC. The shower was not OK. The rom was not equipped for 4 persons regarding glasses, knives, forks etc.
