Great location for walking to the castle and gardens. Barter books great for breakfast and pick up the odd book or two.
Plenty of places to eat.
Plenty of tea making stuff and fresh milk in the fridge downstairs.
Bed very very springy, sit on the bed on one side and bounce off the other. Could hear all the springs pinging. No sheet on the bed they were using a mattress protector as sheet.
Shower was rubbish and dirty. Shower head has not been cleaned in months. Around the base of the door black mould. Had to get in sideways narrow opening and I'm not large.
Door latch loose and couldn't dead lock it.
One of the ceiling lights was coming down.
A fan that blows cold air would be nice. It was only 14 degrees outside and far too stuffy and warm inside.

The chamber maid only made the beds up on one day out of three. The toilet was noisy. We were only supplied with biscuits in one of the two rooms despite a request being made. Would have been nice to see some staff.

The position was good.
Room cold bathroom cold toilet seat loose shower door didn't close properly only had one shower towel radiator only came on once in four days.we had room 3.

The room was very clean, cosy and warm. It was nice to have the extra touches in the room, ie the tray of refreshments and also to have fresh milk outside the door. The room was very central for all amenities in Alnwick.
It would of been nice to have had thinner quilt as it was to warm for the time of year.

We really liked the check in process, so easy.

Such a cosy perfect little, clean, modern room, spoilt with big selection of drinks, biccies and even some choccies. Very presently surprised.

Really Lovely location and a nice room with plenty of room and storage with bathroom. Very Clean and warm. Not a lot of road noise and with blackout curtains a very good nights sleep.

Bondgate boutique is in the centre of Alnwick and very close to the castle and gardens. We had a lovely room on the front.everything we needed and lots of little extras. Would definitely recommend.
We liked it all.no complaints.

We felt the room was too small for the money and of course, no breakfast included. The en suite too was too small; the shower quite a small door which larger people than us would f ind difficult to enter. The glass shelf over the sink protruded so far out that when using the sink for teeth cleaning or washing inevitably meant water went on the floor. There was only one comfortable chair in the room so the only option was to sit on the bed.

Location was ideal to use as a base to walk from.
In Room 4. Did not like the Saniflow toilet - too noisy. The shower hose was not easy to operate with the power charging depending on the height of hose.

very warm with window closed, open window let in lots of traffic noise. shower was temperamental- took ages to warm up and mixer was extremely sensitive and needed minute adjustment to avoid being very hot or very cold

The guest book said 'phone if you need anything ' but only an 'emergency' number was given .
The room was cold and radiator for central eating couldn't be turned on.There was a portable heater in the cupboard but this didn't work.
There had been a substantial leak in a cupboard on the landing outside my room and the damp smell.
Cheap looking furniture - no sense of style or flair in the room design or decoration
