Spacious and clean rooms, cosy atmosphere and good service.

There was no shower head in the bathroom and we were able to hear upstairs guests walk. Pretty thin walls, I guess.

Our dinner in the restaurant was very good. Great size portions and really tasty!

The biggest issue we had was the beds. They were the most uncomfortable beds we’ve ever slept in and we’ve travelled a lot and stayed in many places. The sofa bed was incredibly disappointing as the mattress was terrible and my son didn’t sleep very well on it at all. The main bed was equally as disappointing…Was this mattress old? Reason: It was sooo uncomfortable…my husband and I also just couldn’t sleep on it. We do also think it’s not difficult to clean out spiderwebs and spiders. My son hates spiders, so after seeing the big one in the bathroom made it difficult for him want to go into the bathroom to use it. It’s the attention to details that make a huge difference for anyone, but what can make or break a stay is the comfort and the beds were just awful. Therefore, overall it was really disappointing.

property was lovely however there was a burst water pipe which meant there was no heating, although this wasn’t there fault the next day they expected me to pay full price even though the room was freezing and I could not use the facilities in the room. The reason was ‘well you already had a shower before the pipe burst’, thought the customer service was poor.

Fantastic atmosphere, lovely room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely weekend. Restaurant food and service was great. Definitely recommend.

Spacious comfortable room. The bar was quaint with a hospitable charm. The staff were first class. Food was excellent with a good range on the menu.

The internet connection was not particularly great. The water pressure was a little low, therefore the shower was not quite as good as I would have liked.

The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious with adventurous menu and local produce. Room was spacious and well ventilated. Quiet village location.

The single bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower was difficult to manage. Lovely shutters but the edges of the windows were mildewed and dirty.
