Gerasimos and his family were very helpful and accommodating - efcharistó for everything! I loved waking up to a view of the sea from my balcony and having a lovely beach on my doorstep, with sun lounges and umbrellas provided for free by the hotel. There is a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in this area - I was finally able to get some much-needed rest :) The rooms are quite basic but clean, which was enough for a summer beach vacay when not spending much time in the room. There are a couple of cafes/tavernas nearby as well as food at the hotel (during set hours). The hotel is in a more remote location. Apparently you can walk to Xi beach, but I didn't bother as I was only there a few days and preferred the calmer beach atmosphere in front of the hotel. Lixouri is about a 10 min drive if you want to go to the town: you'll need to take a taxi as there are no public buses. The most economical way to get between the airport/Argostoli/Lassi to the hotel is by ferry - take a taxi to and from each port; the ferry is only around 3eu - my Lixouri taxi driver organised for his colleague to pick me up in Argostoli. I also did a day trip to Petani beach, which is about a 30min drive. One taxi tried to charge me almost double compared with a more reasonable driver that Gerasimos recommended.

Breakfast could be more varied, perhaps with some fresh fruits and vegetables on offer. To be fair, I didn't ask if there were any alternatives as I'd bought some fruit at the Lixouri supermarket.

Evening meal was not good. The hotel need updating. It has the perfect setting to be an excellent hotel.

We didn’t like too much, it was a disappointed experience for us

We are not happy 1-Rooms are small, it is full with extra bed. There is no place to move 2- Tv is very old, we didn’t touch at all. 3-Bathroom is small, there is no hair dryer. This was too bad.4- There is no iron as well. 5-There is fixed breakfast everyday. 1st time I have sen this. There is no open buffet , they gave everyday same breakfast for per person, counted cheese, egs,juice etc. 6-There is not enough sunbad chair at the beach , you have to get up early to catch one. Otherwise you have to sit under the sun or go to next rest. and pay money. 7- There are too much mosquito, it is very uncomfortable. I think we paid to much for this hotel.

Did have sun umbrellas on beach but guests would drop towel on sun lounger and leave it there for the week so no one had access to them, could be managed better so everyone has opportunity to relax on the beach

Beautiful small traditional vilage houses, friendly and kind familly staff, outdoor restaurant delicios food, all streight on the Beach. Showers back from the Beach. Clear water and beautiful sand. 5km to luxoury port for eveaning walks.

No moschitos nets on rooms due to tradițional doors - can't keep door opened at night for cooler air. The shower courtains could at some Point be replaced with securised glass.

View is fabulous, sitting watching the sailing ships/yachts passing the island across the turquoise sea Continental breakfast was fresh and varied. Perfect location for a very relaxing week. Right on the quieter side of Xi beach. The accommodation was basic but clean and the aircon worked well. The staff could not be more welcoming and were very helpful. The umbrella area for the guests on the beach was great. There are a number of other bars and restaurants all within close walking distance so you don’t need a car…. though we did to discover other areas and supermarket run.

It is a family run business, so Mr and Mrs Lukeri and they children went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and to make sure that our stay is as comfortable as possible when travelling with kids. Thank you!

Could do with a harder mattress

The breakfast, while it was always the same, it was good. Also, the personnel were open to make small changes for those of us who did not eat meat. The area is full of flowers, they have a nice beach restaurant with a nice view. They clean the room ***each day*** changing the towels, which is the first that I've seen in Greece!!!! So 5* for cleanliness!!! Rooms are well insulated so I could not hear from the neighboring rooms. For those that like isolated sites it's very nice. Air conditioning in each room, it was working ok for us. Some rooms are better than others. The personnel was very nice with us, always with a smile on their face and trying to help with every occasion. Except the owner, a frosty man who always looks at you like you should not be there, He may have had a bias against all of us because of the fight some of my friends had with him to get seaview rooms (what they've paid) and which eventually got. Was he trying to scam them? While the first impression was not so thrilling, overall I liked it there (I'm not the luxury kind) and it was: ***a good value for the price we've paid.***

Seaview is only for about 5 rooms but they sell rooms as having seaview even if the sea can be seen just a bit. So watch out, that was a bit disappointing. They have a severely limited offer of food in the beach restaurant, you need to ask for something to be cooked for the next day; luckily the neighboring tavern filled in this need. Even the icecream could not be found in their offer. The bath needs at least an holder for the shower head so we can wash our head without keeping the shower head in one hand. When flushing the toilet there was a danger for overflow, it looks like they did not had much maintenance over the years. :( One of our friends had a broken pipe in the shower one night but luckily they found knobs to shut all water off. There are wasp nests around, the flowers attracted them and in a few cases we found them in the rooms. It was fun watching the girls screaming :)) The wasps visit us also during breakfast. There are no mosquito nets, you need to buy something to counter mosquitos in the night. IMPORTANT: Not enough free sunbeds/umbrellas for all rooms so each morning was a scramble to get one :( Though you could buy a day pass for 8euro from the neighbors (one umbrella with 2 sunbeds). The water near the beach has some rocks inside so it is easy to hurt yourself (or your kids). Some of my fingers on my legs can testify that and I don't think it will be too hard to clean the water near the shore once per season since they are not many.
