Staff was incredibly, we arrived very late and they helped me at 23:30
4 flights of stairs with two bags of luggage at 72 a little rough

Amazing historic building and most beautiful garden. The restaurant was closed but the hosts kindly organised for us to have a platter of cold meat and cheeses in the garden
The breakfast was a disappointment - totally self service and pre packaged brioche and processed cakes. There was little fresh produce: some lovely jams made on the premises but no fresh bread or croissants to enjoy with them- it would be nice to serve a simple fresh breakfast in the amazing garden - it really would make the experience of staying here perfect.

this was such a gem!!! The historic Italy feel of the Abbey a was a delight. the staff were more than accommodating, addressing any of our needs. We had the Saturday night dinner, prepared with local ingredients, the atmosphere and dinner were perfect. The property has loving touches throughout, The gardens were a delight to relax in. The swooping and calls of the nesting house martins was so relaxing to watch. We have already shared our experience with many of our friends and family!!
It did not bother us, the stairs are worn, from many centuries of use. I found it added to the charm, but it could be an issue for others, there were handrails that made it safer. No elevator, which we well anticipated, so luggage hauling was needed.

Very suggestive place, in an ancient abbey with a beautiful garden. Very friendly owner, very good breakfast. I recommend staying for dinner, because the dishes are excellent.
The room had some issues with the water pressure, so the water has been missing in the bathroom a few times.
There are several flights of stairs to climb to go to the rooms, so it might not be ideal for elderly people.

"Es un lugar precioso para parar al menos un par de días. Además tiene restaurantes abiertos y buenos en la zona. Annalisa y su madre Laura son unas anfitrionas de 10. El jardín de la abadía es precios..."
