Brian says, Nothing at all , The external appearance is very run down and unappealing, the front door is a key code entry with a door that looks like several people have attempted to force an entry. Once inside you are greeted by a scruffy handwritten sign warning you about bringing mud and sand into the building. Inside the whole place stank of what must have been cleaning chemicals. If my wife had not prepaid I would have refused at that point to stay any longer.

Brian says We had to immediately open windows to try removing the stench from what must be cleaning chemicals. Even after leaving the rooms for a couple of hours whilst we explored the area the place still stank of obnoxious chemicals when we returned. Later after returning from dinner the lounge area was relatively odour free but we had to keep the windows open. When Retiring to bed the bedroom still smelled and upon climbing into bed the smell was once again overpowering. So bad that I refused to remain in the room and slept in the car. Upon returning home some possessions that we had left in the room still smelled of the chemicals. I appreciate that the room has to be cleaned but utilising cleaning products with such immensely powerful odours is unnecessary. Brian

was perfect for an overnight stay . was spotlessly clean & equipped with the essentials to get by .was lovely & warm also

Nothing not to like .. a little shabby from the outside if I had to be picky but it bears no reflection of the interior

Fantastic location, everything needed was there

Water pressure from shower was really low. It was like the water was just trickling out

everything. apart from the minor problems listed below.

hot water took a long while to come through. light a bit dim in the entrance hall and on the lower stairs for my wife as she has sight problems.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean and comfortable. Location excellent for the beach and for restaurants. Great size bathroom and shower. Everything is well catered for

The host was really helpful and friendly. The triple room was spotlessly clean. The room had good access for a wheelchair user. The location was excellent - directly opposite the marine lake and within flat walking distance to the main centre.

As others have said, I also had the impression that this triple accomodation had a kitchen (kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge etc is listed on the details). There was no kitchen, although there was a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. (No toaster). When the details stated "room only", I understood this to mean no breakfast / meals provided. Since the accomodation was literally "room only", it was rather more expensive than similar properties in the area.

Excellent facilities, great location, very clean. We had a lovely time with our 5 year old granddaughter. We loved it!
