superb location and lovely family

The hosts were amazing. Helpful, welcoming, and a fresh breakfast every morning. Really good. And if you had any questions they were very helpful with tips. The view is magnificent and even though you're high up on the mountain there's 2 restaurants nearby. Nothing short of amazing!

We liked everything, but do take into account it's a little ways up the mountain, so I'd personally recommend a car.

Chiara and her dad are the best hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. They made my stay very special. Breakfast was amazing and I bought some jam of them at the end of the trip. They make them out of the fruits grown on the property.

In bullets: - super breakfast, fresh and varied - quiet area - clean and modern rooms including nice bathrooms - WLAN available - super view on the northern part of the lake and mountains - good possibilities for hiking or mountain biking directly from the apartment - nice swimming possibilities from Dongo/Gravedonna onwards - shopping possibilities in Dongo - nice restaurants nearby (500 - 2000 m) (but of course in the whole area) - Chiara as host always available, accommodating and helpful (whole family) Many thanks for this.

Nothing. Following I added some points you have to evaluate yourself according to your own preferences: - about 4 km drive from Dongo "up the mountain" to Stazzona on narrow road. - regular honking before the (not / little visible) curves - for us OK - if you want to do something near the lake or in other villages, you need the car - so regularly use of the narrow road - TV program only Italian (if relevant e.g. with children and in bad weather conditions) - but could be compensated by WLAN with iPad/notebook

Chiara and the family did take care in a lovely and careful way. Fresh fruits and juice from their own garden served for breakfast. Reservations in close restaurants made by Chiara. View from the rooms and garden in front very nice! We'll come back👍

There is absolutely nothing which was not perfect.

Awesome place, real agritourismo ran by the friendliest family (and Zeus the dog) in the whole of Italy :-) fantastic view on the lake and mountains. Interesting drive to get there, not for the faint hearted!
