Patrice met us at the airport so everything was in order and welcoming. He took us to pick up our rental car and made great recommendations/ answered all questions.

Wifi didn’t work. It’s a real getaway so plan to disconnect. WiFi didn’t work well in town either.

Location ,Location & Location. The view from the cabin is million dollar .A little paradise of its own. all earthly facilities are within reach. Hosts Patrice & Clara are friendly and ever helpful.

Patrice was out of town and we were picked up at the airport by his Napa Rui native wife Clara. She was a wonderful host that thought us many aspects of the Rapa Nui culture, past and present. She also thought us how to catch fish with bread which we caught and ate :) We loved the location at walking distance to town and gave us opportunities to witness local life. Cabaña is rustic with everything you'll need if you're planning on doing your own cooking. WIFI is very sketchy and we needed to go to coffee shops in town with complimentary WIFI to check our emails. You'll need to rent a Suzuki in town to visit the island on your own terms. Would NOT recommend moped since the roads are nothing less than very poor with MANY potholes. Stayed 6 days on Easter Island which was about right to view and visit all the main sites of the island. The Tataku Vave restaurant is just a 5 minutes walk from the cabaña and it was our favorite place to eat. Great and generous portioned fish dishes and drinks in an open setting with fantastic sunsets to gaze on while sipping Pisco Sour.
