The hotel is on the main road of Pilcopata a small town in the jungl. took us 6 hours to come by car (4x4 with a driver) from Cusco, what a ride. The hotel is conveniently located, clean and quiet (although they were not a lot of people at the time and walls are thin). Unfortunately the restaurant of the hotel was closed (due to post covid) so it was a bit tricky to find the right thing but Gloria was amazing and super helpful. We organised a jungle safari with her and we had the most amazing day, walking in the jungle discover fauna and flora.

not the it mattered now in winter but there is no air con in the rooms or fans. In summer it can be very hot and a fan would be most welcome

.. Familyrun, the constant frend'yness, the hospitality all was top. Theo the owner guided US around with good results. Birdspotting, facts about the region and the People,swimming, it was all there.. 100% recommended. I LOVE this People 👍👍💥💥😉😉😘

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Francisca was amazingly kind, helpful and accommodating. After the first night, we asked to be moved to a quieter room, and she moved us right away. Every morning, we sat down to a delicious breakfast.

My only issue with the lodge (with all its wonderful qualities) is that it is not a good place for light sleepers. I requested a new room after the first night because my room was next to the chicken coop, and the roosters started crowing at 3 am and kept me awake. We did get to move to another room (because the staff is amazing), but honestly, it didn't help much. The barking dogs outside kept me awake and I could still hear the roosters. But if you have good earplugs or don't have trouble sleeping in noisy areas, this place is perfect!

It all started with the perfect contact via mail with the amazing Gloria! Before our travel to Manu we had a lot of questions and she all answered it very helpfully! The lodge itself is very basic but with a cute atmosphere! The food was really great! (we had 3 days veggie meals) - no belly problems! During our stay we did 2 Tours with lovely Gloria! It was really really great and I can only recommend it 100%!!
