Location was excellent and very clean

I liked the location, the apartment itself was very clean and comfortable, AC very good in general - everything was perfect. The host was responsive, the communication platform was super easy to use and the digital keys are an excellent solution.

I only have one comment regarding the service - we stayed for 9 nights and paid for room cleaning, but we received no cleaning at all and the sheets and towels remained unchanged for 9 nights. We travelled with another family who stayed in a similar apartment nearby, for a smaller rental cost and recieved room cleaning after 5 nights. But we managed of course, just a recommendation to improve this.

Appartamento soazioso (due camere da letto, due bagni, di cui uno piccolo solo com wc e lavabo) in stabile vicino alla Sagrada Familia. Chiave elettronica mediante cellulare per il portone e porta di casa.

Interno dello stabile buio, pareti non insonorizzate (vicini molto rumorosi …italiani), vista brutta su retro dei palazzi e soprattutto diverse finestre (cucina, bagni e camera con letti singoli) che affacciano sul cavedio (non descritto), quindi con poca luce. Lavastoviglie non utilizzabile per sportello del detersivo rotto: segnalato il problema e purtroppo non risolto per attesa di “pezzo di ricambio”…nessuna accomodazione compensatoria prevista in un soggiorno di 6 notti…

The location is fantastic, so close to the Sargarda familia close to bus stops and the metro. The apartment's kitchen was very well equipped, and the two toilets were very convenient for a family of 4.

The beds were, quite honestly, some of the worst we have ever experienced. Imagine the most uncomfortable bed you have ever slept in, and multiply that by ten. The beds were unbelievably creaky — to the point where even the slightest movement, a change in position, or even breathing seemed to make them squeak. The “mattresses” were essentially blocks of extremely soft foam, so soft that you could feel the metal structure underneath you. The pillows were paper-thin and provided virtually no support. All four of us woke up every morning with sore backs, sore necks and aching bodies. Instead of waking up rested and ready to enjoy Barcelona, we were waking up exhausted and talking about how badly we had slept. It genuinely affected our entire stay and became the one thing we could think about every night. We raised the issue with the people managing the apartment during our stay and were told that they had “never received a complaint like this.” However, after looking much further down the Booking.com reviews, we found numerous other guests who had specifically complained about the beds. These reviews were certainly not obvious when we were making our booking, which was extremely disappointing. The worst part is that there was nothing we could do about the beds once we were there. When you are travelling as a family and have paid for accommodation, you expect to be able to sleep comfortably. That is the absolute bare minimum. I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could consider these beds suitable for accommodating guests. The mattresses, bed frames and pillows urgently need to be replaced. A good night's sleep should not be a luxury in an apartment — it should be the most basic expectation. Unfortunately, despite the positives of the apartment, the beds were so bad that they genuinely ruined our stay.
