Pretty much everything was excellent, very clean and well built apartment. The regular room is small but roomy. The apartment is bigger but has smaller spaces. Perfect feeling and size for a stay in the old town.

We had the roof apartment, which is fairly big but at the same time a bit crammed. And the facilities are plentyful but of a smaller size.

Great location and atmosphere. Very comfortable room. Owner very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast at cafe is good as staff are also very friendly and you mix with the locals.

The albergo is in the center of the old town, and it's a really cute town at that. I chose Albenga haphazardly as it was only a couple hours train ride from Nice (France), and I was heading into Italy for a month. I could easily walk to the beach (admittedly it was a longer walk to the free beach, but I enjoy walking), and everything was very accessible from this location. Located up just one flight of stairs, it wasn't too difficult on the knees, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I had a little window overlooking a narrow street--that was nice too. Everything else was in good order, and the bathroom was rather spacious. Breakfast is served at the neighboring bar and it's not fancy, but your typical Italian breakfast (drink and pastry, I always recommend the treccia, with pecans or walnuts, more interesting than a cornetto) and it does the job til lunch.

My wife and I were delighted with our stay at "La dimora del Conte Bracco B". Among other things the owner asked us to stay in the larger Double Room rather than the Standard King room we had booked. We felt that the Double Room, really a mini-apartment, is very attractive, bright, comfortable and cheerful. Moreover, the Double Room, which was recently completely renovated, is ingeniously designed to make the best possible use of the space available, and it even has a small terrace. The location of "La dimora del Conte Bracco B" is wonderful. It is inside the historical core of Albenga -- which means that almost everything is very very nearby. Even the more distant beaches and promenade are only fifteen minutes on foot. The start of the Julia Augusta path to Alassio is also not far. Guests at "La dimora del Conte Bracco B" have breakfast at two very pleasant cafés. Rooms are cleaned daily. We followed the advice of the owner and had no difficulty finding no-cost places to park in the section of the modern city that is near to the "La dimora del Conte Bracco B". The owner, Giacomo, also made available information about Albenga, including maps, and he provided useful tips about the cafés and restaurants.

I would like to note that to reach two rooms it is necessary to go up one flight of narrow steps. To reach the third room it is necessary to go up two flights of steps. We did not mind at all, especially as the owner helped us with the luggage, but visitors with mobility constraints might find the steps challenging.
