Great comfortable beautiful stay
The restaurant food was very expensive and we didn’t enjoy the meals we did order from them.

Amazing location, stunning property with great staff

The staff was very pleasant and created a really good atmosphere. The room was beautiful, and so was the rest of the facilities. In the evening, the garden full of people enjoying cocktails, the music and the restaurant created great memories! We loved every second there!
3.0
The room and setting
The noise - loud music played across the gardens from lunchtime until midnight every day except Sunday,
which was peaceful.
Breakfast was poor

Hotel is gorgeous outside and inside. Amazing bathroom with a huge tub.
Breakfast was sparse for €15/person

beautiful house and gardens, nicely located, clean and airy room, lovely bathroom and exit to the Terrasse
it gets quite noisy in the morning and the rooms are not soundproof, breakfast is very little for the price, in general the package is too expensive for what you get

Gorgeous hotel, lovely staff. The bar is great and the location is perfect - just 10 minutes from Aix. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
There was an issue that initially wasn’t handled the best way possible, but it’s really minor.

The room was good and shower was excellent. Located close to town by car. Staff very polite and helpful. Adjoining restaurant was excellent. Swimming pool loungers were readily available when needed.
Parking was tricky, plenty of slots but the car parks were small and difficult to navigate. Also it could be clearer about how and when you need to book space at the bar for drinks as we tried a couple of times to go for drinks but they were fully booked. Pool location is not very private so close to the adjoining restaraunt.

A beautiful, old Provençal house, set in lovely gardens, with spacious public areas, with soft-seating areas and a fireplace in the bar room (but, inevitably, this was pretty much taken over by the World Cup match on an inflatable screen...), and a good restaurant with an interesting, local-vore menu and regional-heavy wine list. Our ground-floor room was quiet but smaller than some, although the beds were comfortable and we had direct access to a shared terrace area. The bathroom was, again, on the small side, with a step-up shower with curtain rather than screen, and a very high toilet (despite not being really disabled-accessible). We had a pretty good dinner in the restaurant, although the apéritifs and wines (by the glass) were far more expensive than expected and one of our main courses (we eat slowly, but had warned about this) was on the overcooked side. Breakfast was fine, too, albeit not amazing, although the bread was fresh and the coffee very good.
To be honest, we didn't quite know what to make of Domaine Gaogaia... While the hotel looked great, the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant menu sounded really appetising, we were left feeling a little underwhelmed by the whole experience. I guess we felt there was something missing, which is hard to put your finger on, but perhaps a touch more personal attention, a soupçon more attention to detail, and un petit peu more of that indefinable sensation that makes a hotel truly special could transform this from a good place into a genuinely great one...

Late arrival due to technical issues on the plane - nevertheless, at 2355 we are asked, if a cheese plater with charcutterie and bread would be of help after long travels - lovely prepared and perfect midnight snack!
Was great from beginnig to the end

A beautiful property, we loved the blend of an historic French country setting with excellent high quality modern comforts. Excellent and well maintained facilities, including a large pool, restaurant, and guest sitting areas. Lovely large bedroom, comfortable king bed and modern spacious bathroom.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff was awesome, the ambiance was wonderful, the hotel is so cute and we loved that it was tucked away and had parking available. Probably not too easy to get to if you are relying on public transportation but it would be worth the attempt!

The location is lovely and so are the grounds and swimming pool
The food is very good but gourmet. Would have been nice to have had options for lighter snacks like sandwiches. They offered tapas but weren’t very broad, mainly meats and cheese.
The stairs in the family room were far too steep and dangerous

I would have liked an extra pillow and a washcloth, but otherwise all was wonderful

Hotel grounds and its charm. Also, thumbs up for the friendly welcome!
We have really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food at dinner.
Breakfast was basic and there were no user instructions for the egg boiler (time, temperature, etc.). Also, we wanted to spend one morning by the pool and though it should have been open by 8 a.m., access was still prohibited at. 9.30 a.m. due to maintenance works.
