A very warm welcome from Peter and everything about the property is excellent. The view and location must be one of the best views in Southern Africa. Excellent all round.

This is my third visit to South Africa, and having been here for over 5 weeks on my current visit, Guinea Fowl Loft is one of the highlights! Knysna is a gorgeous small town between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, and Knysna Heads is a spectacular suburb, perched on cliff edge, with a great location. The views from Guinea Fowl Loft are amazing, the apartment is furnished wonderfully and all facilities that you need are provided! There is a small but perfectly adequate kitchen so cooking is not a problem at all, a lovely twin bedroom and the living room with the amazing views! Most of all however is the welcome from Peter and Pam, which is quite exceptional! They could not do enough for me during my stay, and I am already planning my next visit. Many many thanks for a quite wonderful stay! 😊

The only slight (and it was only slight) downside to the entire experience, is that the Guinea Fowl Loft is a little out of town (6 kms), and unlike many other towns, Knysner does not have Uber coverage. If you do not have a car therefore, a little planning, in terms of food is necessary.
