Medea Residence appartamenti vacanze

We were met and given a very warm welcome on our arrival. The room was perfect for us as a family of four with a terrace and seating that looked over the pool and the relaxing gardens. It was a lovely place to come back to after visiting a busy town which was particularly hot this time of year. It was very calming and relaxing to be slightly removed from the hectic centre with beautiful views along the coastline.

Nothing really. The pool was quite hot so didn't really cool you down in the extremely hot weather. Not sure if it was heated or it just had been warmed up by the direct sun.

Muy cómoda residencia, cerca del centro de Taormina. Esther, la coordinadora de esta residencia, fue muy amable y estaba disponible para cualquier cosa que necesitábamos.Las habitaciones muy grandes y cómodas, los colchones muy buenos.

Quizás la piscina.En las fotos parecía más grande y más bella que la realidad.El agua estaba bastante caliente, y la piscina un poco sucia, quizás era porque había unas cuantas familias y con niños. Había algún bebé que los padres lo metían a la piscina sin pañal de baño, desnudo. El camino desde la residencia al centro, es cerca, pero es una subida empinada, no recomendable para personas mayores.Fuimos una vez y ya no queriamos volver.

We loved our 3 night stay here & could have stayed longer! The large studio apartment was perfect for our needs (4 of us). Beautifully designed & everything we needed (except a sharp knife! We bought a sharpener). The kitchen facilities are otherwise great. Lovely private patio table & chairs. It is peaceful & set back from the busy area of Taormina. The pool is fabulous & great to spend siesta times by. Gorgeous view. The whole place is beautifully designed, gorgeous tiles everywhere. We could walk up to the town/shops/restaurants & it was only a 15-20 min walk to the Teatro Antico. We loved it here! Thank you also to Esther, the very kind & helpful host.

Location

Sparsely decorated apartment. Tatty pool and pool area. Pool water was like a jacuzzi super hot. Weird. The most uncomfortable pool loungers ever no surprise they were empty even in August.
