The breakfast was great and included with the room; the dinners were great including custom made salads and a great pool for swimming laps.

Beach erosion is reducing the size of the beach which is much smaller than my last visit 11 years ago. I also did not like that you cannot swim in the lake because of hippos which swim in the lake and come on shore at night.

The fact that I paid 3 times more than my cilleagues attending the same meeting and when I asked I was told I should have negotiated with Booking.com. How does one do that when ibformatiin about the option is not available! Very disappointing. I felt fleeced!

The pool was just amazing, one of the best I ever saw in hotel, semi Olympic perfect for good swimmers. Rooms are huge, well equipped. The staff is great. Good restaurants with amazing fish. All in great scenery, at the lake, beautiful garden and trees. Probably best place in Burundi.

The view of the lake from my room was beautiful, I would highly recommend requesting for this! The facilities were an interesting mix of modern +local Burundian culture, which I completely loved. The food is also well done, and a huge beautiful pool that is ideal for both adults + kids.

Nothing much to write home about the breakfast. Then again I have a preference for an english breakfast

The breakfast was great, there were a lot of options even for vegetarians and vegans. I could not fault the location as it was breathtaking.

I booked a family room with 2 single beds and 1 double bed with a shower and a bath. Once I arrived I was given a room with 1 single bed and 1 double bed and only a shower. When I insisted that I needed the room I booked, I was asked to pay extra money for the room. I was exhausted and stressed and didn’t want to pay extra money that I did not budget for. In the end I stayed with the 1single bed and one double room and I had an uncomfortable night sharing a bed with one of my family. That same night there was a concert near by and it was very loud and we couldn’t sleep until 3am when the concert was finished. The rooms could benefit from a sound proofing system.

The location very beautiful view of lake Tanganyika from the balcony. Great service at reception, restaurant and housekeeping. Airport shuttle service very good. Very helpful staff especially Vianne.

Bathroom could be worked on so that water doesn't flood the whole bathroom floor. Otherwise it is a great place.
