Excelente trato por parte de sus propietarios Harry y Lucrecia. Desde el primer momento te hacen sentir como en casa y resuelven todos tus problemas con una sonrisa. Los desayunos son excelentes, hay una parte de desayuno buffet que se complementan con un plato del día que elaboran al momento en la cocina

The courtyard was comfortable and inviting, the rooms were adequate size, comfortable beds, hot water with good shower pressure, even hot water in the sink. Big windows for lots of light, fridge, microwave and air conditioning. Breakfast was continental but with more options than most continental breakfasts and each morning the eggs were prepared differently, made to order. Fresh fruit, an assortment of cereals, real coffee, hot water for tea, hot chocolate or capuccino; almond butter and an assortment of alternative milks. Beautiful view out to the ocean. The staff is so kind and welcoming, anything you need for your stay, they're happy to oblige. The area is very quiet and they have good wifi, some of the best out of the three main islands even others with Starlink had worse speeds and connectivity than here. Fairly close to local small restaurants, but it is an uphill walk from everywhere. You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into this place.
It's a bit far from the main town area.

the best part about the property is the breakfast view and the breakfast itself is the best we’ve had on our 3 week trip.
the accommodation is quite far and uphill, so you need a taxi to get back most times

Staff were nice.
We were very surprised when we arrived, the entrance was like a garage, a bid metal door closed and locked. Very unpleasant. The location of the hotel is a 10-minute walk, a relatively isolated place. Returning from the center of the island to the hotel uphill in very unpleasant especially when it's hot and also less pleasant at night.

The location was at the top of the village of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. It is a nice walk downtown but a bit of a struggle walking back uphill. The use of taxis around the town is really great because it is $2.00 for anywhere in the town area. The breakfasts were very well done with good selection and tasty. The murals around the area with many wildlife and sights around the island of San Cristobal. The many gardens and plants around the yard were a nice touch as well. The breakfast room had a very nice view of the harbour. Harry and the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Generally really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it for people wanting a "eco friendly",hotel while on San Cristobal.
It was not an individual hotel problem but a Galapagos Problem, the weak WiFi in the area.

To begin with, the hotel was very conveniently located close to the airport and to restaurants and the harbor. Quiet and peaceful. Beautifully kept up as if it were truly loved by the staff and ownership. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed coming back to the GEF each day. A little wonderland. Harry and his wife were wonderful hosts. Harry went above and beyond.breakfast was great with a fabulous view.
I loved that it was up the hill from town. My partner wished that it was a little closer to town. I however, loved the location with walking distance to the beautiful beach.

Very nice, clean and quiet place to stay. Fantastic host Harry was always there for us, made us feel super comfortable and helped us finding a way to our trips. Great breakfast, with fruits and nice with vege options.
Nothing really not to like. I like to walk so the 10 min walk to the center was fine for me.

The place is unique, with island decorations everywhere. The breakfast is incredible, with lots of different foods and options. The room was clean. The place was very safe. The hotel pays for your taxi to the airport which was appreciated. The owners were very helpful when they were there. The Wi-fi was OK most of the time, but like any other Galapagos hotel, slow and spotty, but you manage.
We had a tour that left at 7:00am one morning, and breakfast doesn't open until 7:00am. And it's a 15 minute walk down to town. We tried to contact the hotel owner the night before to see if we could get a roll or something bagged for breakfast before we left, but we couldn't find the owner, even after trying to call the number listed. So, we left without an incredible breakfast that we felt we had paid for, and which helped us select this place in the first place. We got breakfast the next day and it was very, very good. It's a 15 minute walk down to town, which may be a little too far for some, but we enjoyed the walk. I rated this a 9 because I don't think the value of the hotel is quite what we paid for. It had lots of good reviews, and I undertand them, but I think we could have found something closer to town that was less expensive, and that still offered what we were looking for.

Harry was especially hospitable and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary ride from the airport to Galapagos Eco Friendly. The cheerful, outdoor public space was the ideal gathering area for our group of 12. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the top floor open air breakfast room was beautiful. Great location and great choice as our gateway to the Galapagos!

Lost hot water one night and the hot tub was not hot. Owners dog was very yappy.

Hotel communicated quickly from booking through stay. The proprietor, Harry, was attentive. Rooms were clean. Great breakfast with fruits, toast, and freshmade omelette! Hreat view yowards bay in breakfadt nook.

WiFi was weak and location was further out than we anticipated - 15 minutes walk to the front however we still had a great time despite this and plenty of taxis around.

Television didn't work, Wi-Fi was spotty and of no value.. Breakfast had bugs and flys. No pickup at airport. Management was mostly not available. Very poor quality.

Everything was perfect. The bedroom was quiet with a comfortable bed and excellent AC. Breakfasts could not have been better. The owners have done an amazing job creating a beautiful space and are super friendly. We can't imagine a better place on San Cristobal or indeed on the Galapagos Islands - we were there for two months and this was easily the best place we stayed at.

The rooms were fantastic and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. One of the owners, Harry, was a great host and even took the time to give a quick tour of San Cristobal. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the island.
