The accommodation consisted of a large room with en-suite, both very clean in a terrace of others. It had a super-king sized bed, with a comfortable mattress. It seemed to be quite new and modern and was in a quiet area next to the car park at the back of the pub, with a pretty planted area outside the door. Underfloor heating and heated towel rail in the bathroom worked well, not sure if it worked in the bedroom though. Breakfast was great, a delicious full English and/or toast or cereal, with tea, coffee and orange juice. We had dinner there 2 nights, and were very pleased with the food. Glad we booked our tables early, the pub was busy both evenings, even mid-week, which is always a good sign. Housekeeper came in each day to top up tea etc and change towels, which was good.

The quilt on the bed was a bit on the thin side, fortunately we had brought a throw with us, and hot water bottles (it was Autumn). The room could perhaps have benefitted from a few homely touches, like a picture or two on the walls.

Clean and comfortable and does food with pleasant staff. Also close to my work at Hinkley point.

Nothing to dislike other than the one day they don’t do food. But everyone needs a day off !

Cooked breakfast was exceptional and the overall picture is very good value for money. Spacious bedrooms and Wi-Fi was superb. Great location

We stay on a Monday night with no food available at the pub. One of those things, everyone needs a night off.

Impressively large bedroom and wet room. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent.

Very cosy pub with lovely accommodation. 5 minute drive to Quantock AONB, easy access to Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar, and Clarks Village. Food piping hot, breakfast included, accommodation clean and tidy, with huge ensuite wetroom style bathroom. Very quiet as accommodation tucked away behind the pub in 'mews' style area.

Bed were a little too hard, but that's personal preference.

Room was well appointed, clean with good shower.

Ants 🐜 in roomon tops, food was hot but not the best.

The mattress on the (huge) bed was not very comfortable and due to the vast size of the rooms - it got very chilly through the night.

Really quiet comfortable room even though we were right next to the beer garden we couldn't hear the people sat in it. The bed was massive and really comfortable and breakfast was really good. Friendly staff and locals, would definitely stay here again if we're in the area

The shower wasn't the best it was hot but lacked pressure a bit as it was leaking by the showerhead

Had to wait for the room but the Manager did apologise and gave us a free drink.

There could have been more food available for breakfast. The internet connection didn't work either.

clean & spacious place in a lovely village close to the wedding venue we attended. Good Breakfast, plenty of options.Good Service. Also had a nice evening meal on arrival.

Beds were not very comfortable. Unfortunately no Internet available at that time. Coffee was the only negative at breakfast.

There was a glowing green light bulb on all night. The shower was difficult to operate and soaked the bathroom.

We had a family room which consisted of two generous size rooms and a wet room. It exceeded our expectations for size and comfort. The wet room was spotless and smelt very clean. All round very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way for us.

The room was comfortable tea/coffee with biscuits a nice touch, Spacious bathroom and the only thing that woke us up were the birds singing in the morning.

Was disappointed that there was not an evening meal on the Monday night. After traveling down on the Monday then having to find another place to have food.

Room, bar, and location all excellent. Will recommend certainly., and no doubt will stay again if in the area. Thankyou.

Nothing not to like.

Rooms and bathroom were clean and very spacious. Pub was great, breakfast was small, but really nice ( just the cooked bit, loads of cereal and toast). Lots of room to park at rear of pub.

Not pubs fault, but phone reception is not great in the accommodation area, but fine in the pub.
