The owner was very friendly. The place is comfortable. There is heater on the bed.

Narrow stairs up the third floor. The location is a bit of a walk to 丽江古城 but the weather was cold so it is still nice to walk

I loved everything about Mama Naxi's Guesthouse. The lady who runs the Guesthouse was so helpful and accomodating during my stay and helped me book the bus to Tiger Leaping Gorge and for my luggage to be delivered to Tina's so I didn't have to carry it while trekking. The second I walked through the door I was hit by homely the place feels and the room was large, clean, modern and comfortable. I definitely hope to visit Lijiang again and if I do I'll definitely be staying here again!

Owner is very generous to offer pick up service from train station, very friendly and helpful. Took time to explain how I can get to tourist spots. Location is very good, close distance to public transport.

Great communication with the owner who was really helpful & friendly. The guest house was easy to find and just a 10 minute walk to the old town. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. Great value for money.

The bathroom shower area in our room was open to the rest of the bathroom, so lots of water on a slippy floor. Providing a mop would have helped.

Very helpful staff, things seem to be picking back up from the pandemic. Check this place out!

Review from solo frugal traveler MAY23: I had the double private bedroom with private bathroom. Here are the pro's of this location: You're a block away from the bus terminal depot (If you opt to take the bus to or from Shangri-la/Dali/Remote towns, a short walk to the guest house). Around 10 min walk to the entrance Oldtown and Zhongyi Market (Night Market with yummy food hawkers around 1800). Number 18 bus to and from the Lijiang Railroad Station. After you walk out of the guesthouse's compound, you're on the street with plenty of places to eat with the locals. I ate lunch and breakfast there and got a little bit of the local atmosphere instead of the touristy old town. The room was very clean. There's a second indoor patio deck to hang out after a long day out.
