Staff was friendly. Relaxing vibe.

But there are no key cards to the door. Uses traditional lock and key. This may cause confusion. Someone repeatedly tried to open the door to my room and was banging on the door very aggressively, because of this confusion.

Everything. We loved the beautiful aesthetics of the the entire hotel. The rooms were very large. The pool area was peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed having cocktails around the pool in the evening after a busy day of site seeing. Great location for us. The breakfast buffet was delicious with enough variety to please everyone (at one point we had eight rooms for our group of 13 people). We appreciated that some of the breakfast choices changed daily (we stayed for five days). The staff were lovely. I forgot some air pods in our room when we checked out - which I didn't even realize. I was contacted by text with a photo of my belongings. I paid a minimal shipping fee and they were mailed to me right away to my next stop in Thailand. Fabulous service.

I would have liked wash cloths in the rooms for washing/showering. (We just went and bought one at the nearby 7-Eleven.)

Hotel itself is quite nice. Perfect location close to all you need to see in old town.

Unfortunately during the whole stay (5 days), there was reconstruction of the terrase just in front of our room. We couldn´t properly use pool access etc. + very noisy. We got 500 THB as a compensasion, but needed to ask for it and to be honest, that represents only 2 drinks in their pool bar.
