Nous avons passé une super séjour dans ce magnifique gite. Très bien situé, avec une vue superbe. Le gite est confortable et agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par nos hôtes et bien conseillés pour nous visites et balades.

The property was very spacious and clean. The host was super welcoming and friendly, including welcoming us with some local rhum, line and sugar to make our own ti’ punch. The view was beautiful and the gardens were so nice to wonder in.

Sadly the private jacuzzi was so full of chlorine and the temperature was cold. We stayed for only 2min in it, as the chlorine made our throat itch and burn :( maybe this was just an unfortunate one-time incident, as we did feel the hosts are super friendly and wanted us to have the best time ever! Its a shame as we were very much looking forward to the private jacuzzi… I would also say they need better mosquito nets over the beds, as there are actually no “doors” to the terrace but electronic blinds instead- these acts as the only entrance way / doors into the property, letting in all sorts of insects and mosquitos…

The location is superb for exploring Basse-Terre by car. The view from the balcony / living area is exceptional too, so we were never in a rush to leave in the morning! The gîte is a well appointed, cosy retreat. It's only a few minutes drive from the Monoprix so it's very easy to buy nice food & wines for a night on the terrace after a long hike. Our hosts were charming and warm.

The mosquito nets on the beds could be updated, although there were good quality mosquito protection screens on the windows. This may not be a problem for all travellers, my husband didn't suffer for instance - but I collected a lot of bites.

Excellent accommodation and charming hosts. The gites in the grounds of their beautiful garden has magnificent views right down to the sea, several hundred metres below.

Hard to find fault. Perhaps travel light as there are many steps to carry your luggage.

Beautiful location, great house with 'living on the porch' and a magnificent view. Hosts are very friendly with tour through the wonderful garden.

Oké, mosquitoes are to be expected in that environment but some mesh screens on the back side (bathroom, hallway and toilet), would be helpful to keep it to a minimum without interfering with the good ventilation in the house.
