Hotel is modern and maintained well. Breakfast is exceptional. Dinner in the Cantonese Michelin restaurant was also outstanding. Facilities are good. Beds were comfy. The location is right in the middle of the financial district. 50 minutes drive from the airport.

You need a swimming cap to swim in the swimming pool. And room service could be faster. To wait 30 minutes for the ice bucket is a bit long.

Covid certainly was not easy for all . investments stopped , so did training to the staff. Minimum consumption of 350 rmb on the roof terrace as a house guest was a little strange . Coffee service at breakfast very slow … washrooms between restaurant and living room in not good shape , bad quality paper towels…Covid ? But certainly not Park Hyatt ….

The hotel was perfect, with beautiful views all over Guangzhou. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The Rooftop bar was (fully booked) But there were still some places free, and no one helped us there. Also, the breakfast could have more variety with these hotel prices. The rest of the hotel and stay was Perfect.

Great view and facilities

The staff went above and beyond to help us with every query we had - they were super helpful all the way through! The hotel was also beautiful, in a very convenient location to go to the British Consulate.

There's nothing I can think of that could have improved our stay here.

The breakfast including the service from the restaurant staff is exceptional. A calm and welcoming environment. The swimming pool is also exceptional with the best view in Guangzhou and friendly staff too.

The personal service at check-in was amazing. They helped me find the correct health-code on my phone and how to have it come up when I went elsewhere. The manger Andy of the breakfast, brunch and Italian dinner restaurant went above and beyond, remembering my likes in coffee, making sure I was seated and served well, and enjoying some conversations. A server in the Living Room also made me feel special by remembering my like of limes in my drink. My room had an amazing view of the Pearl River and much of the city. The room was very spacious and had luxurious touches. The bathroom was worth spending relaxing time in. The view from the Living Room was of the Canton Tower and Pearl River, very amazing to sit and admire while being served your favorite drink and food.

I did have a stone massage in the spa. It was one of the best massages I'd had in a long time. Very relaxing. But for some reason, at the end of the massage, I was rushed up, not allowed to shower and drink my tea, and escorted to the elevator. With the language barrier, I am not sure what happened. Maybe she went over my time? It did ruin the whole relaxing aim of the massage to not lay a few minutes before getting up, not being allowed to shower the oil off before getting dressed, and not being allowed to sit and enjoy my tea. I do hope this is not the usual routine! I would appreciate a response from the management on this procedure in the spa.

Our room was meant to have a view of Canton Tower, but it faced west instead. Coffee available at breakfast can be improved.

Great location in central parts of Guangzhou.

We were conned. We booked a family room with two double beds but instead we were given a twin room. We argued for ages and got given an extra portable bed which meant that one of us had to share. We felt cheated as we had paid top dollar for a family room.
