Paradiso Phuket is in a great location in Chalong. You're close to several food options and within a 10-15 minute drive from multiple beaches. The room is clean and has everything you need - like air conditioning, a fridge and hot water.

Very hard bed. But they put some additional duvet on the top, it became better! Window from my room was above the road ot was noisy.

Very nice loft! We have spend here nearly one month and were able to feel like home. Comfortable bed and very useful space with sofa and desk. Owner was very helpful and was solving all our issues immediately. Also, we really appreciate the way Khun Kao was taking care of our rooms. She was always available and so kind! Thank you for your hospitality!

Pretty much everything! Charlie's perhaps the best host I've met during the countless times I've traveled. Absolutely love the homely concept of each room (stayed at 5 rooms so far lol), as they're unlike the ones you'd usually see in other guesthouses/apartments/condos.

Charlie’s awesome! He’ll provide you a well of info and he’s very accommodating. Close to the pier and lots of dive centres, ideal for us, nice, cheap, and cheerful local veggie eatery just up the road, good wifi, spacious, everything worked as it should.

Second stay, so good the first time we returned. Great little place that is a super cool place.

In my opinion nice place to stay for shorter time as I missed a view from my window and it was too dark inside. other than that, it's very quiet place, the only noice I heard was from neighbours walking around my room, nothing more. The bed was very comfortable and I find the temperature inside very pleasant, I didn't use air con often. The staff was very nice.

The darkness, no view. My window was positioned inside a corridor without much direct light and sun. I would appreciate some nice common terrace or sitting area. There was only one little table closer to entrance and the road.

Not all sockets hold charges, but this is the specificity of plugs of electrical appliances, I think the problem will be solved with penny adapters. Alas, different countries, different sockets, well, to be honest, I didn’t ask to solve this issue, it didn’t bother me.

Check in. Dirty bathroom. Dead bug in hallway. Getting woken up by tourists pressing our doorbell wanting to check in. Staff barging in our room. No hot water for 2 days. Reception always closed. Walls and ceiling leaking during heavy rain. Bathroom wall/fan leaking during heavy rain and causing the whole bathroom to flood. Bad communication from host. Bad communication from Booking.com

The staff onsite was very helpful. The location was close enough to restaurants and bars, but far enough that it was quiet to get a decent night’s sleep.

The duplex apartment is pretty well decorated. I enjoyed spending time in Chalong, it's near Rawai, the pier is nice and it has a very calm/local vibe. The quality of service is really nice, the apartment is always cleaned, the laundry is taken care of, and you sometimes get fresh fruits at your door step.

Perfect spot for us for our stay in Chalong. Our host Charlie ensured we had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. He was the perfect host in every way, it was really interesting chatting with him! Our Loft Double was 35 m² with excellent air conditioning for the hot days, our refuge after our morning activities. Ideally situated to take a walk up to the Big Buddha and take advantage of excellent eateries nearby.

The uniqueness of the room

The manager, Charlie, was not on site when I arrived and could not be contacted. Apparently Charlie had been away for days or maybe even weeks. No one seemed to know. Although I speak English very well, and I speak Thai fairly well, I was not able to communicate with Ms Kao, the person whom Charlie had asked to take care of guests in his absence. Ms Kao, an elderly person like myself, was nice and sincere, but had a speech impediment that rendered her unintelligible (to me) in both English and Thai. She also did not seem to understand me in either language. Additionally, she apparently did not know how to access my booking on her phone or the hotel office computer. She could not confirm that I had a booking and that I had already paid online. It was only after receiving advice and help from some kind long-term guests who were already in the hotel, and who already knew Ms Kao very well, that we were able to resolve the situation. Although I had already paid online, and refused to pay again, these kind-hearted other guests voluntarily paid a second time for me--knowing that they would get the money back, which they did, the next day. Thus, in sum, Day 1 at Phuket Paradiso was not like being in paradise. On Day 2, however, I was able to talk to the manager, Charlie, by phone and I found him to be friendly and easy to communicate with. My opinion is that Booking.com should ask Charlie to find someone to help Ms Kao take care of the property when Charlie is absent. This is the only problem that I had with Phuket Paradiso, but it was a big one.

Phuket Paradiso is one of those gems that make your trip memorable, a place excellently located to get to know the city and the beaches of the south. Rooms with designs full of life, details and quality at an incredibly affordable price. It is these details that make us not forget what my partner and I experienced in Phuket. Since there are many places where you can stay with various benefits and amenities, but none could offer such a special service as Charlie & Kao at Phuket Paradiso. The kindness and trust that they gave us was such that we felt at home. I can safely say that the work that Charly has put into this project far surpasses hotels that provide you with many luxuries. They are full of comforts but Phuket Paradiso besides that, makes you feel like family. That is priceless.

Great location for a comfortable & relaxing stay in Chalong. The guest rooms are spacious & decorated to a very high standard. Plenty of parking available. Phuket Paradiso is located in a quiet soi, a short stroll to Chalong Pier. A terrific local restaurant across the road - room service available at locals prices. Many restaurants nearby. Same day laundry service to your room. Phuket Paradiso is more like a 4 star hotel experience- can’t wait to return again.
