We have stayed there twice and will stay again. Apartments are equipped with everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect , just 10-min walk from the old town.

Client service was rude and incompetent. Booking.com has a list of rules from each accommodation. This place will send you bunch on additional rules AFTER you book and pay for your stay. The following rules basically say that if they say that if they clean this place after you leave for 1,5 h they will charge you 50 EUR extra. If they say that there was some noise they will charge you 200 EUR extra. If there is a person staying at this place who’s ID, passport copy they did not receive prior they will charge you 100 EUR for each. Most strange thing was that this place smelled like smoke all over. And - there was a rule - 200 EUR fine for smoking. I am a non-smoker - i felt this smoke smell right after i entered apartment. There was a air-cleaner in kitchen and that smell like a cigarette. List of ADDITIONAL rules: We kindly ask you to send us passport or ID card pictures of all accommodating guests prior to check-in. Accommodation service providers are obligated by law to verify identity of all guests prior to check-in. Hilltop Apartments does not accommodate guests under 25 years of age. Age restriction applies to all guests and is not limited only to service booker. Age limitation does not apply to relatives travelling with children. Hilltop Apartments reserves the right to request 200€ deposit to insure compliance with house rules. Deposit will be returned 1 business day after check-out. All guests who are not registered as tenants must leave the premises by 23:00. All guests present in our premises after night hours are automatically considered as extra tenants. · Hilltop Apartments reserves the right to issue a fine of 100€ per every extra person not registered as tenants. Extra charge for aliens does not reserve for unregistered guests to stay at the premises after 23:00 · Fine for disturbing peace during night hours is 200€.

Nice central apartment, with compact sauna, fairly modest kitchen equipment (not enough to cook a meal). Good price (though we booked midweek in January!)

Fantastic location, within the reach of shopping centres and 5 minutes walk from the Old Town! 5 minutes walk from the ferry to Helsinki! Quiet location! Covenient in all terms!

Room was very nice. Bathroom and kitchen were spotless. Apartment is in the very center of Tallinn, but windows are not faced towards the street, therefore could not hear the noise. Because of the short stay we did not have time to cook, but kitchen looked well equipped and quite spacious. Internet connection was good. Bed was very comfortable.

Instructions to pick keys were too complicated (almost like a charade). There was nowhere to park (in allowed place) for picking keys, then it turned out that the wrong locker code was provided and host's phone was off. Luckily all ended well, but it was a stressful experience. Another thing - there was not enough light in the apartment, apart from bathroom and entrance wardrobe. If you are a reader bring your own headlamp (also if you want to find anything in the bedroom wardrobe). Perhaps we just did not figure out how to switch on full lights, because some of them just did not come on. How to switch on bathroom ventilator stayed as a mystery too. We also could not figure out how to make telly work according to the provided instructions.
