Full Irish including French toast cooked to perfection and great value for money. Sinead was a wonderful host and provided great information and maps on good places to eat and visit. Had great dinner in The Amethyst which is just about a 15 minute drive and visited the Valley bar and hostel for a drink which is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive.

Really warm welcome, the Island is a special place and the property is a perfect fit for it. Sinead gave some great advice, the bedrooms were very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was also just right with different options available. We would go back tomorrow if we could!

Only one night!

Wondeful host (!!!), great place, very tasty breakfast with lots of different things on the menu between which you can choose (and all of them are great!). And: a very nice place with really fantastic food for dinner is just a 10 min walk away (Valley House). We have been there twice. We loved it. The Valley House inhabits also a pub with live music. So, at Achill Water's Edge you'll find anything you need to have some wonderful days (and nights) on Achill Island.

Everything…but especially our lovely, friendly, kind and warm hostess, Sinead. We messed up on our booking- in time and Sinead was so patient. Her home and our room were really nice, so comfortable , and in a lovely area. Breakfast was yummy! And we are grateful to Sinead for providing the welcome from next door’s cute doggie, the wonderful couple we shared breakfast with and the two darling donkeys in a field just along the road….luckily I had some Digestive Biscuits so we had a little snack together! Everything was super. We really appreciated the varied choice of breakfast and the good strong coffee! Our host was delightful and very helpful in suggesting sights to see in our limited time and a very interesting place to eat out.

We found the bed comfortable but rather too warm although Sinead had helpfully put on a separate sheet - this really is not a complaint merely an observation.

5 star experience...comfortable, clean, great location and an excellant breakfast provided. Sinead is a brilliant host. Highly recommend this B&B. Will be back.

Achill is beautiful. Waters Edge was a great place to stay so clean and breakfast was delicious we had a wonderful time.

My stay at Achill Water's Edge was exceptional. The host was so welcoming on arrival and was so helpful with everything, The room was beautifully decorated & with a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast the next morning was absolutely divine. This is definitely one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in. I was only there for a one night stay, but will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone visiting Achill.

Just exceptional Sinead was a very warm and welcoming hostess with deep roots in the area. Breakfasts were great, the house and grounds were beautiful with lovely views. Sinead even did our laundry providing us with clean , pressed and folded clothing within hours, which we did not expect. Best stay of our 3 weeks in Ireland.
