great villa on the hills of Taurmina, nice pool, the hosts Mario and his helper Sylvia were terribly helpful. the pool is ,
very nice, great view of the city, the house is fully equipped. the only thing to look at is the need of a car in order to arrive there since the road to the villa is a bit challenging

Absolutely stunning property. AC in each room, poolside was spacious and got sun and shade at all different times of the day. Multiple places for meals around the garden and inside. Beds were in great condition as well - firm mattresses and lots of pillow options. We had access to all types of utensils and crockery needed, a washing machine even!
Giovanna and Mario were the most hospitable and kind hosts we have ever experienced. They were thoughtful, always responded instantly to any enquires, and gave some amazing recommendations for restaurants / taxi companies etc. Giovanna is a very kind soul, and really went out of her way to make our holiday retreat the sublime experience it was.

The pool and garden area were spectacular and the balcony's all had incredible views.
The location, the views were amazing but it is a little tricky to get in and out of to visit other locations and is about a 16min drive into Taormina itself

Perfect perfect villa for a family with children. Tv in every bedroom and comfortable beds, plenty of extra blankets and towels. Amazing pool and facilities. The little touches such as free toiletries and towels were so thoughtful and both Mario and Giovanna (who lives next door) looked after us so well. Always at the end of a message to help us out with taxis etc and Giovanna even went to the supermarket for us as we didn't have a car 😃. Thank you so much Mario and Giovanna and we hope to see you again 😘

Everything!!!! This is the best place by far that we have stayed in Sicily - simply stunning. Sparkling clean with beautiful garden & swimming pool, set in the.mountains overlooking Taormina & Castelmola.
Hosts Giovanna & Mario are amazing people & could not have been more friendly, kind & accommodating.
We will be highly recommending the villa to the rest of our family 😀

Beautiful villa with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. Giovanna was an excellent host who put extra effort in to make our stay superb.
The private pool was very clean and a nice temperature in September.
Not a dislike but would be hard to get to without a car. Taxi from the villa to Taoromina cost €20-25.

The host Giovanna was so lovely and made us feel at home, bringing home made pesto, ice lollies etc. and generally being so so nice, as well as helping us organise taxis and so on. The villa is gorgeous and super clean as well - a perfect stay. I'd recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!

Villa Almond is a beautiful villa around 7 minute drive from Taormina and it’s beautiful beaches. The Villa itself is very well presented and was exceptionally maintained and spotlessly clean. There are lovely gardens and a fabulous pool. Everything you could possibly need is provided. From the terrace you have amazing views of Taormina and the sea beyond.
Giovanna who lives next door took really fantastic care of us during our stay, nothing was too much trouble, from helping us to light the bbq to borrowing some fresh rosemary from her garden while cooking dinner, we really felt part of the family by the time we left. We even received a beautiful gift from Mario, the owner of local Canola which was delicious. We would totally recommend this property as a holiday destination, to put it simply it was perfect.

Very nice villa and great garden. The location seemed initially a bit far from the center but in fact we loved it as it allowed us to enjoy the original local area. It is only 10 mins out and you will like the drive out. The host (Giovanna) was great and very helpful. She lives nearby and made us feel as if we are at home.

Spacious, clean, well equipped, great views, very comfortable, amazing host, fab pool, quiet location.

Steep and pot-holed roads in places, not for the faint hearted after a long journey but once navigated quite charming .
