Great little hotel wine bar and restaurant, friendly, clean great location

Comfy bed. Lovely fruits, teas, coffee maker. Reasonable selection of tv channels. Nice courtyard off our room which we enjoyed. Great location with gd restaurants nearby. The hotel does not have breakfast but there are breakfast options nearby. Very friendly staff. Good bike parking in ally with door to hotel. We do lock our bikes & did check regularly as neigbours also used ally. There was a door at end of ally. They were perfectly safe.

This is a small place /5 rooms or so/, what we could see is that each room is different. We had room one in the upper floor /bit smaller and sunny/ and one on the ground floor /larger but bit dark/. Nice staff and family like atmosphere. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Wines were excellent. Excellent location too. Make sure you reserve parking space when booking.

Kitchen is opened only when the wine-bar is opened. The menu was not really our choice, same for breakfast, but there are plenty of opportunities to choose around. Pillows were too hard but the bed was very comfortable.

- this is not so really a hotel. there is no reception area, no breakfast area, nowhere to sit and relax, basicaaly no facilities at all other than your own room. the “hotel” is just a couple of rooms in the back of a restaurant with the same name - location on the edge of old town, a good 20 min walk to center and train station - for the price there are much better options in the city center - if you are looking for a typically dutch experience and design, look elsewhere. zies intends to be a mediterrean-styled hotel, but feels soulless like it could be anywhwere in the world - small rooms and overstuffed decor makes room feel even smaller - paper thin walls - weird moist smell at the entrance

Nice boutique hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff, and a very comfortable room and bed. The bistro/wine bar is amazing! Unfortunately it happened to be closed on two of our three nights, but we're so glad we got to try it on the last night. Highly recommend staying here.

The bathroom has a sliding glass door so not much privacy, and the shower is relatively open so it makes the whole bathroom wet when you use it. Those are minor issues and overall we had a lovely stay and would certainly come back.
