The cottage is situated in a quiet street within walking distance of the main centre. Very comfortable and cosy with tasteful appointments. Off street parking was good. It was a pleasure to walk into, like coming home.
Everything was fantastic! The only things I can think of are: No wifi access ( it does mention this on their policy), no dishwasher and no tissues! These were only minor issues and they definitely wouldn’t stop us from coming back!

If was a breath of fresh air staying at the cottage instead of a motel room. We visit Tumut regularly as it is our destination for destressing and relaxing. The cottage is a wonderful home away from home. Can't recommend it enough.

Lovely cottage, new bathroom, clean and conveniently located.
No contact with owner except on the phone, made the stay impersonal.

Kitchen has been recently renovated and is very nice. This was our second stay here and we were pleased and surprised to see the changes. Butterfly cottage is a great little family friendly place to stay, close to everything in Tumut.
Shower is a bit old and could use an upgrade. Would be great to have opaque curtains to block out morning light and for privacy (there are only vertical blinds and thin net curtains)

Like a home away from home - very quiet and comfortable. Flowers, chocolates, biscuits and milk on arrival made a lovely welcome.
