Nice quiet place, clean rooms.. We didn't stay in bungalow but looked very nice too. We loved the sitting area next to the river. I would recommend this place but they need to definitely improve servis in the restaurant.

Staff nice but very slow. We ordered food and were waiting almost one hour in empty restaurant. Sometimes they forgot the drink we ordered.

Beautiful place by the river and very friendly and helpful staff.

There was a strong smell of perfume in the room, but otherwise clean and comfortable. I would suggest to equip the chairs and benches in the cafe area with cushions. It would make that beautiful place more comfortable.

How delightful to open up our blinds in the morning to views of the river! We stayed in one of the river view bungalows, and had a wonderful stay. The views can't be beat, it wasn't too far into town, especially by tuktuk and the bungalow was lovely. The staff were super accommodating and even served us breakfast to have right on our riverside patio.

Just a disclaimer - the bungalows are located right next to the restaurant which if you go to bed early can be a little noisy. Easily remedied with earplugs.

We ordered 2 bungalows front row to river, as we were hoping to enjoy life on the river and maybe a swim in the river. the water in the river is very dirty, no one swims in it, and there is no activity on the river. The door to room B sticks, so our girls couldn’t open it. our rooms was not cleaned every day and one of the airconditions did not cool properly. On top of that there was noise with loud music from both sides one night. We checked out after two nights.

Location Bungalows

you have to be very patient for a cup of coffee

This place has so much potential… It’s right by the river, a little out of town, but very easy on a bike. The huts are cute to look at and the chill area on the jetty was where I spent a lot of time whilst there.

The raised bungalows have slatted walls - so we got eaten alive The bungalow we had had a broken fan which made so much noise I’m pretty sure our neighbors were banging on the walls We moved to a more expensive room to get away from the noise and the mozzies (the bottom bungalows don’t have the open slatted walls) however was overridden with Mould/must/damp - the furniture was green and the smell was really bad. we agreed to the upgrade with an additional $5 total charge (I made sure to check that was total for the whole stay, not per night. especially has the room wasn’t really an upgrade with the mould, but it didn’t have that awful fan. when we went to check out with a different person, they added $5 and refused to back down. huge miscommunication, but the guy didn’t handle it well. we ended up meeting half way after a really quite unpleasant ordeal Finally, we ordered a bus/ferry to Koh Rong Sanloem a couple of days in advance for when we were leaving and when we went to check details of pick up the night before, it transpired the guy hadn’t booked it. there were no spaces left when they tried to book it again. so we had to get a much later transfer which meant we lost. day in our next place - which was really upsetting

Location and environment (near the river) including the sight of the individual apartments/cabins was very good and promising

The breakfast was of near to poor quality and expensive. The beds and matrices were not comfortable. The electricity plugs were difficult to reach, or did not work. There was no hot water. Other similar apartments nearby had hot water, but when we asked about ours (which lacked the equipment) the answer was that there is hot water in that kind of apartments! At the the same time they opened one of the other apartments for us to take a bath (which was a positive action of course) and then we realized that our was an exception. This was not mentioned however in their site! We asked for information on a taxi/car to transfer us to another city. they promised to provide it. However the personnel changed quite often and there was no follow up on our request. Finally, we asked whether we could use a boat passing from the deck found within this property to get a ride across the river. They answered initially yes, then somebody else told us that they did it before but now because of the pandemic they stopped it. After this we went downtown on ourselves, found a nice small boat and took a ride in the river, bit when we got back we surprisingly found a boat within the property waiting for a group of 10-15 clients for a river ride (that was supposed to be undoable...)! These were locals and not foreigner tourists, and in general we had the feeling that bamboo bangalow preferred to work with local people...Its a pity that despite its nice location, externally attractive apartments and the excellent tuk-tuk driver they suggested all the rest were rather poor. A couple of people in the desk were nice and tried to help some others either they did not understand basics or were rather indifferent.

Very affordable, including the mills, and a very relaxed setting!

Very fresh air

The location was ideal for relaxation and easy way in and out. A reasonable place to stay for a weekend quick get-a-way.

Great location. Big room with a beautiful view of the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Scooter hire at $5 a day was a bonus.

At one point we had the most awful music coming at us from 3 different directions. It was as if hell had dispensed with fire and replaced it with the most awful music 😟. The mosquito net left a lot to be desired. Having said that there didn't seem to be lots of mosquitoes anyway

the people were one of the nicest! i absolutely adored them. they tried to help whenever needed and made good cocktails

what bothered me most was the fact that the bungalow was open… so we hd tons of mosquitoes. the mosquitonet had holes so that wasn’t working well. the bungalow was very small, no way we could outstall our clothing. the location was just too far from the centre and

Unique location, nice houses. The food (breakfast and lunch) was very nice. The coffee could be better though 😁 a little bit out of centre, but easy to get with tuktuk. Also good cocktails
