The hosting family was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They prepeared a nice hot bath for us in the evening (ps. bath and the bathroom were huge). The room was lovely and the futons were comfy.

FYI - if you don't like insects, be mindful, there might be some in the house (nothing consering, they won't bite. Just a heads up)

I felt at home almost right away. The place is in the historic village where not many people remained to live, so it is quiet. The nature around is beautiful and the shrines you find in the village are so peaceful. It was perfect getaway during the golden week. I felt like a part of the family, not even with hosts but many times also with the guests. The internet works pretty great and if not, there is a great signal reception.

There is nothing in particualr, more like notes to bear in mind when choosing this accommodation: - mornings tend to be quite cold - there is little to no connection with buses - there is no grocery store nearby - there is a washing machine but not dryer

The hosts were very capable and polite. They organised dinner for us for a small (1200Y) price. The rooms were superb, with comfortable beds in big rooms, and the bathroom facilities were very good. This is a strange little old Japanese tourist village, but it is perfectly located in the middle of some of the best motorcycle riding roads in Japan.

The staff was very friendly, we felt like being part of the family. The breakfast was delicious.
