Room very beautiful, very clean, up to date and posh.

Location is great, the staff extremely helpful and the room was outstanding! Breakfast was also super. We had a great stay.
Not that we didn't like it, but it would have been great to have a longer time when breakfast was served. It was 9-9.30am, but maybe up until 10am would be even better.

I had a cute, clean room in the Tavern. Breakfast was so good and the staff were amazing. I was worried it might have been noisy but even with my window open it was quiet and I slept like a baby. Also I was a very short walk to the wall, York Cathedral and the train station.

The location is perfect and the staff are really friendly
The WiFi is pretty bad, and I never had a signal in the room either so was without both.

Good location but on a busy road, comfy bed and a good breakfast
one sliding sash window was jammed open and secondary glazing poor so very noisy at night as busy road
the bathroom light was on permanently and the sliding door to the bathroom made a horrible noise when opening and closing, and you couldn’t leave it open due to the light.

The rooms were very clean and modern. landlady was most welcoming. Full English breakfast was super. 2 minute walk to centre of York. Highly recommend.

The location was brilliant, all the staff very welcoming, nothing was to much trouble, room was very clean and comfortable, fantastic breakfast, great live bands in the bar at night

The location was perfect for us. The room was clean and provided us with everything we needed.
The music coming from the pub was very quite until late on Saturday night but that was to be expected so no complaints.
