The location is well worth the trip. Jaw dropping views and tranquil.

Location is very nice for where it is. The direct connection to the pass and relative issolation make it ideal for cycling. However, consider not going in winter.

The actual drive to the accomodation is quite rough, not that it is the accomodations fault, but it is a factor. The overal insulation of the rooms is lacking, which in turn means it does get very cold in winter. The firewood one can get out there is all low density poppler wood, so I'd recommend you bring your own dense wood to ensure adequate heating can be done in the rooms with the built in fireplaces.

Welcoming , knowledgable host. Very safe feeling A real mountain outdoors retreat. One of the most beautiful areas in SA 4 km outside centre...just perfect. Tranquility.

We were a little unsure where to check in Obviously the very bad roads - but we used Google maps and therefore we cannot blame the resort Ons DEFInitely need a 4X 4 for the further leg to Mount Fletcher

Quietness. Beatiful landscape and walking trails.

Would be wonderful if kitchen could have a bread knife and small sharp knife to cut/peal veggies etc.
