Great location, easy walking distance to beach and downtown restaurants. Cottage is roomy and comfortable, especially for 2 people. Kitchen has pretty much everything you need for preparing your own food. Big plus to have a dedicated parking spot in a garage as parking can be a little tight around there. Riki is a great host, made sure that we had everything we needed for a great stay. Will definitely return in the future.

The property is extremely clean and beautiful. Rikki makes sure you have everything you need. We try to go to this VRBO every summer. The beach is walking distance also close to the main street with tons of restaurants and fun boutiques. Nothing but good vibes!!

The location of "The Cottage" is great for a getaway in San Clemente. Walk to the beach or the quaint downtown area with good eats and great shops. Riki was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed before arrival and during check-in. We would highly recommend the stay.

Perfect location to shops and the beach. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the balcony was enjoyable. Riki was very nice and welcoming and helped set the tone for our beach getaway. We look forward to staying here again!

I have stayed here previously and am happy to return. The place is super cute and is in a great location. Its a short, easy to walk down to the beach/pier area. Also, a short walk to Del Mar Street where you can dine or shop. And I LOVE that I can bring my little dog... that makes a HUGE difference to me. I will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at Riki's place. The pictures are accurate and you are within walking distance of the downtown area in one direction (about 5-6 minutes) and the beach area (about 8 minutes walking in the other direction). As a suggestion to any renters, we figured out that you can walk to the beach with your beach chairs, umbrellas, etc and take the trolley back and walk down about two blocks back to your place. The neighborhood is nice and everyone we met was friendly and would just say hello which was nice. It's nice that there is a garage available because parking in the area is quite tight. The only suggestion I have is to have a vehicle with a little clearance because of how the ground leading up to the garage slopes a little bit. Other than that I would recommend this unit by giving it 5 stars. We were there from 5/19-5/27/2023. It's also nice that there is a full bathroom and a half bath which is just a nice added bonus. We hope to go back next year if there is availability. We love the beach and this unit definitely helps to make beach access easy to get to based on the location.

I will be totally honest and say that if I saw the outside of the cottage I probably wouldn’t have rented it but the inside is quite nice. Riki was great to deal with and the location is awesome .Short 10 minute walk to the beach & very close to the lovely downtown area with great restaurants and shops The kitchen is well equipped but there are a couple of disappointing things about the cottage. The deck & garage were quite dirty as well as the barbecue The laundry facilities are not in the cottage. They are at the back of the small complex and are coin operated San Clemente is a wonderful place for a vacation and I’m sure we’ll go back

This was the perfect place for me, my daughter and my six year old grandson. Location was amazing and the cottage was perfect. I highly recommend this place

The property was spacious, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located close to town and close to the beach. Riki was wonderful to work with, and took the time to stop by, and make sure everything was great. Having an off-street parking spot was also very convenient. We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed Riki's cottage. This was an older remodel home in a nice location and walking distance from about anything San Clemente has to offer. It was a great 10 day getaway and appreciate having a place we could call "home" for a few short days! Thanks Riki for giving us a great space! On a side note....We really appreciated all the great people we meet in Southern California. The hospitality was second to none and we enjoyed every person we crossed paths with!

Our stay was just perfect. Close to the beach and the Main Street. The appartement is very nice, quite, clean.. Riki is very responsive and helpful ! We will be back for sure !

Travel to San Clemente often to visit family. Being familiar with the area, it’s important to be able to walk to both Del Mar and to the pier. This property allowed us to do both, within minutes. The property is exceptionally organized and clean. The owner Rikki, was accessible and a fantastic communicator. We will be back!

My hubs and I needed last minute accommodations when our escrow was delayed in closing.. not just for the 2 of us, but for our 2 pugs. Franken Beans..we found Riki’s listing and it was so cute, and close to our yoga studio that we have in town.. there was also a garage to pack our 55 Chevy and a street space.. that is worth gold in south San Clemente! There were lots of places to get cozy and her place has a great beachy vibe… she greeted me upon my arrival and walked me through property- she even had a welcome card and snacks- that was such a nice touch! The only thing I wish there was - is a little dresser or drawer space for your clothes..just a note, and not at all a negative- she does offer half of the closet for hanging items and shoes. Super clean, super close to the beach…a great courtyard and a balcony to enjoy the San Clemente community! We could literally walk to EVERYTHING on downtown!! Thank you Riki for a wonderful Stay!

My wife and I had a great time vacationing for two weeks at this property. The location is great, check-in was easy, the neighborhood was quiet, and everything in the cottage worked as expected. It was really nice to just be able to walk a few blocks to all the restaurants, coffee shops, etc. -- we barely used our rental car! Would definitely rent again.

Very neat, well stocked place. Riki was a very good host and met us when we arrived. We liked walking everywhere even though we had a car. We did drive down to the pier because the walk back up the hill was a bit much for my husband's knee. Parking was inexpensive and available there. Had a beautiful beach walk, saw dolphins from the pier and went whale watching. We also enjoyed the variety of restaurants in town!

Cute beach cottage in San Clemente. We could walk to the beach, pier, and restaurants downtown.. Very clean and well appointed. Rikki was great to work with. Would rent again!

My wife and I and our 30lb dog stayed at Ricky's place for a week. Our kids, 20 and 22 years old, joined us for three of those days. Ricky was very considerate in that she got the two day beds in the den ready for them to sleep in. The front deck is pretty spacious and a nice place to eat/drink or just relax in the sun. We used the grill to barbecue for one meal. We took walks to the beach (8 mins) and to downtown shopping (5 mins). If you surf...my son and I went surfing at T-street one morning. Nice break. The locals seemed a little edgy but not too much.

Our family of 4 (including 2 kids aged 5 and 7) stayed at this beautiful cottage for a week. Riki was an amazing host who greeted us when we arrived and told us everything we needed to know. We appreciated the cleanliness and close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would definitely book again.

We loved our stay in San Clemente! The property was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed while visiting family nearby. Off street parking was a bonus! It was also a short walk to restaurants and shops on Del Mar. we hope to stay again soon!

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at Riki's place! She met us there the first day and showed us everything which was very very helpful:-) San Clemente has so much to do and the beach was just a short walk. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again that's for sure!

This is our 4th time back and it's because of the location and beauty of the cottage. Easy walk to Del Mar Street /Downtown and just down the hill to the beach. Riki is wonderful and a great host! We had absolutely no problems and enjoyed the BBQs on the Deck and the open living area. We will be back!

We spent a week here escaping the Arizona summer. Good location for 2 of us and our Yorkie. Just a short walk to the Pier and beach area as well as downtown shopping and restaurants.
