The pool was a great relief in the heat. The owner was really friendly and very helpful. Great location and central to most of what we wanted to do in Paarl.

Annette and Brian were warm and generous hosts. Our room was very comfortable with a large bed, spacious bathroom, fridge and air conditioning. We had a secure parking space adjacent to our room. The swimming pool was a godsend in the hot weather. Excellent breakfast included. Generator back up meant that the effects of load shedding were minimal. .

The room I had was very badly ventilated and did not feel good at night, despite it being a nice room and bathroom. Dusty smell to it. Only after I stood at the door with it wide open for 15 minutes and I then with the aircon could I sleep:

Everything was perfect. Annette and Brian are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed swimming after our daily outings.

Loadshedding

I really enjoyed my stay at Paarl Mountain Lodge, it is a very beautiful place, with very welcoming and friendly hosts who made me feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious, with plenty of options, and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. I also had a space for parking, which was great.

I really appreciate how the hosts went out of their way to ensure I’m comfortable and even went as far as to accommodate my dietary requirements.

The view from the breakfast room and deck was stunning.

The bedroom opened onto the parking and had no view. The first night our car was parked right in front of the sliding doors and the next night our car had to be parked on the street although it appeared very safe.

Facility is in need of maintenance and upgrade. Rooms and passage is cramped, add on to main house. Have sliding doors leading onto a small car park. Linen old

Annette was very friendly, she gave us a warm welcome and helped us to choose a nice wine farm to visit. The dogs were also nice and welcomed us!

Our hosts were very caring and personal. The accommodation was spacious. And the beautiful view from the breakfast room showed off vine covered hills of this past of the Cape. A lovely stay over.

The breakfast was very nice and the host very friendly.

The room was a lot smaller than it looked in the photos and the view was revolting. There was a motorbike, dead trees, bin bags and a washing line. Really ugly
