I wish we stayed longer

Fantastic stay, absolutely loved it. The breakfast was fab, and had the best eggs benedict ever! Our rooms were great, and so clean and loved the bed, slept like a baby. The garden was lovely and enjoyed coffee in the morning, and were lucky with the weather. Handy location and short walk to Matlock. Highly recommended and would stay again.

Nothing. Special requests were catered for. We had afternoon tea for eight and added one more at the last minute. It was no problem despite everything being home cooked.

Host Ziz was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A central but quiet location and the room was large and airy, very clean and comfortable. There was a good variety of breakfast options in an easy setting.

It was very cosy and welcoming with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. Our room was really nice and clean with a great bathroom. It was very handy to have a parking space and only a short walk into Matlock.

The room was beautifully decorated and and spotless. Couldn't have wanted anything more, there were lots of lovely touches. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice and everything was fresh and delicious. The host was warm and friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. An added bonus was the electric car charge point which is available at the property. A beautiful guest house in a beautiful part of the country- you really can't go wrong- would definitely recommend this gem.

Very well appointed spacious bedroom and bathroom. The superb breakfast was served in the elegant dining room. Ziz was the perfect hostess. We had afternoon tea, all freshly made and delicious. A wonderful stay - we'll be back.
