Sehr nette und bemühte Gastgeber/Familie! Man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl. Das Zimmer hatte eine super Lage und durch die großen Fenster fühlt man sich sehr mit der Natur verbunden.

Beautiful views of Nicoya peninsula and gorgeous sunsets. Most welcoming family run business. They cook from their own kitchen and are always there to help.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners and the receptionist: they treated us like family. They were extremely friendly and helpful. We had incredible homemade breakfasts with a stunning view of the ocean.
There were a few bugs in the room, but we hear it is normal for the region.

Excellent view. Good breakfast. Kind and attentive staff.
Lighting - need reading lights on both sides of the bed. Betting is dated, but okay.

One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. Close enough to walk to the town, but far enough away to feel like you’re in nature. Beautiful views, friendly staff and lots of birds and critters to watch while eating breakfast.
Nothing to dislike!

This is a small establishment with great views. Breakfast was good and the owners were helpful.
We enjoyed our stay but I would not have too high expectations about the rooms. The rooms and beds are a bit old and need refurbishment.

The family that owned the property were extremly kind, helpful and cheerful. They helped us with dinner recommendations/reservations, walking us through a map of the area and all of the interesting places to go and experience- as well as making tour reservations. The breakfasts were great! Eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit.
Also during breakfast, we were entertained by a family of monkeys that were right outside of the dining area.

Sofia was an efficient and accommodating host, in addition to being so warm and welcoming. She recommended restaurants for us, helped us sort out a good nature walk, and pointed us to the best hanging bridges. Plus, she has a lively personality, as do both of her parents, chef Betty and host and waiter David. We loved our time there andwould definitely stay again!

Sophie and her parents were fantastic hosts! Rooms are comfortable enough and the view is spectacular. All the activities and restaurants they recommended were great. Very good breakfast done by them fresh every day.

A great and family-run accommodation. Thanks to the large windows, you can look into nature right when you wake up, which creates a special atmosphere. The room was simple, but very clean and ultimately had everything we needed for two nights. This is breakfast is highly recommended. We had booked a night hike through the hotel, which was very comfortable. We would come back.

Absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end! In terms of location you could not ask for more, perched high above Monteverde cloud forest. Our cabin was cute and cozy, which also had a balcony with breathtaking views.
Even with all this, the heart of this hotel comes from the family who run it. Sofia is a conscientious, kind and caring young lady, who will make you feel at ease with instantly. She immediately took care of our dinner reservations, guided tours and additional travel plans. We did not need to worry about a thing! Her father Rey is equally as hospitable. We were unsure how to get to a restaurant, so he walked us all the way there to make sure we would not get lost! We also loved the breakfast included. It was delicious!

We would definitely recommend this place!

The property is beautiful and like a secret retreat tucked away in the city. The staff were exceptional. We were greeted upon arrival by David and Lula the dog. A few moments later we were brought fresh orange juice. We had many questions about directions getting around town and to our next destination. When David could not answer the question (His English is not the best) in clear English he would get Sophia for us. Sophia was a huge help. She was so kind and helped us find the best routes to avoid dirt roads if possible.
The view we had from our room was breathtaking. Breakfast every morning was so delicious and prepared on arrival.
We had the 1st floor room near the reception check in.
Our room has one Queen (maybe king) and 2 twins, a bathroom, a kitchenette, walk out back porch with view.
No washcloths or shampoo but we found this to be the case at a few other places in CR. I guess only USA uses washcloths.

Rooms were a little damp from the natural humidity, but not a problem.

The view was beautiful and there was a mini kitchen. The breakfast that was included was good and staff was very friendly.
The toilet barely flushed so we had to ask for a plunger. It still did not flush properly but as we were only there 2 nights we just stayed. The bathroom vanity did not have space for toiletries so we used the kitchen area as our countertop.

It is a family owned business. The staff is exceptional and extremely friendly. Both David and Sofia were the best! And I had no doubts the best costa rican breakfast by far. Also, the view is amazing!

The room was large and confortable. The windows are very pleasant, because you can see the nature around from your bed.
The family who manage the hotel is the best: they are kind and funny.
The walls are very thin and you can easily hear the people next door. The cleanliless is not always perfect, to me.

We were helped by Sofia, very nice young lady who is willing to answer your questions at almost any time 😉 Room was nice with two double beds, warm shower and nice small kitchen and even balcony with a nice view which we enjoyed a lot, with many birds flying in and out. We even saw a aguiti with two young ones, how cute is that.
Breakfast service was very nice, the man attending to our service was very professional and also funny. We liked him a lot.
Small tip, if you come here in a rainy season then I suggest Curi-cancha reserve, where we saw the quetzal and not just 1 but 4 and lovely toucan and many other birds. We also went to the Santa Elena cloud forest but because this really is a cloud forest it was raining a lot, its very closed with little light and we didn't see many animals and we are excellent spotters.
