Great location with parking. Friendly owner. Very clean with everything you could need.

Mark and Grace were friendly and very helpful. Convenient location in a quiet peaceful area which made relaxing and reflecting a lot easier than in the hustle and bustle of Liverpool. Very easy to get to the town centre and and pier. Situated near shops and variety of restaurants which made shopping easy. Decent distance to walk to and from the train station. Easy to catch buses from. Would be happy to stay there again if I were ever to pass through that area again.
Couldn't make use of the hot water in the sink due to low water pressure. Other than that, there was nothing of note to complain about.

Location.. ideal for both Bowness and Windermere.
No breakfast facilities or housekeeping.

The location was great, Mark was lovely very accommodating nothing was to much trouble, the spaces were full for parking and he just said no worries park in the yard area. This was so helpful as we didn't have to find somewhere to park and pay a fortune.

warm welcome. Room was adequate size with decent shower. plenty of tea coffee etc.
from car park to reception area there was numerous steep, narrow steps.

Lovely comfy clean room, great location, attentive hosts, no complaints.
The only thing would be that it would be super helpful if breakfast was available but it didn't ruin our stay at all.

Quiet location, off street parking.
Elim House is advertised as a B + B, however they don't do breakfast and haven't for a while, so a bit annoyed having paid for breakfast which we didn't get. Also in need of modernisation.

Really enjoyed our stay. Mark was a fantastic host, very welcoming with great communication. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Parking is completely free and plenty of spaces available. The only thing missing for me and this is very minor but would be of benefit, is a mini fridge in the room.

Lovely, clean room, perfectly located for the attractions in Bowness. Mark was very welcoming on our arrival and told us everything we needed to know.

The guest house was easy to find and there was free parking. The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room with plenty of milk and a couple of biscuits too. They provided excellent amenities including body wash, shampoo and hand soap. We had a room with a super king size bed which was again exceptionally comfortable and we had an en-suite bath with a shower over. The towels were of a good quality and lovely to use as the bathroom radiator was heated. If I could give a 20 for cleanliness I would as all of the areas in the guest house were spotless.
The host was friendly and communicated well.
The only minor negative point would be that the water pressure wasn’t great but it is an old building in otherwise excellent condition.
