Fabulous location near to the main shopping centres. Ideally located for shopping and a large choice of restaurants and bars nearby plus a short walk to the Quayside for more restaurants and bars. Lovely walk along the river with some quirky little craft outlets and cafes to stop and rest a while. Stunning views from the balcony.

Lots of stairs up to the top floor aiartment (approx 70) luckily we are all fit for ladies of a certain age ! Well worth it for the views. But no good for anyone with any mobility issues at all. Could have done with 2 single beds in one bedroom rather than 2 doubles. Otherwise extremely well appointed. .

the property was the perfect location for our weekend, just a 5 min walk from centre of town! the flat had everything we needed from a coffee machine to an ironing board. the balcony was a lovely touch as we could enjoy a coffee whilst looking out over the city. comfy beds and lots of space. great value for money!

Apartment has everything you need for a stay in Exeter. It's was warm, roomy, great balcony with views and right in centre of town. Plenty bars, eateries, take away, convenience stores withing sight of front door. Process of arrival very well explained, easy to understand, with local info, tips aplenty. My stay was a bit rushed so didn't have time to take full advantage of lounging around. Would happily use again.

This is picking hairs as you asked! Bathroom, shower could do with bit of upgrade possibly. If mobility was a problem stairs are a climb but not an issue for our group. It was raining mostly but 100% sunshine wasn't in booking contract.

Great location, in city centre. Spacious apartment. Responsive host, answered any queries promptly.

Unlike many rental properties, this one was thoughtfully furnished. Nothing was lacking and everything was where you expected it. The location in Exter was perfect. Didn't need the car again. Perfectly clean and the host was the best I have experienced

Well its three flights up but nothing to be done because the view is tremendous when you get there.

The location to the centre is superb. with limited accommodation around the centre (apart from Hotels) - this is a good find. McCoys Arcade - virtually next door https://www.sacredgrounds.co/ - fantastic for breakfast/brunch for the non vegans and vegetarians - try it, it is some of the better vegan food you will find. Several Vintage shops and plenty to browse at. The Picture House, independent Cinema. With dozens of Cafe, Bars, Pubs all within a few mins walk. It's the Location that is the best feature. Coffee machine, good quality towels, toiletries, essentials in kitchen, 2 pillows each, all nice touches. the Host is Brilliant - thank you Jonathon.

The Apartment is not the most up-to-date, but it has just about everything you need. Double beds felt a bit small but were adequate. Top Floor means 4 flights of stairs - the price you pay for the views!

The very well equipped kitchen. The white goods are well chosen with very clear operating instruction and controls. Very comfortable bed and seating. The equipment and furniture are very good. (Yes, that's four "very"s...) Simply, neatly, and effectively decorated.

However, while the furniture and equipment are very good the apartment itself isn't at quite the same standard. All rooms have sloping ceilings so if one is tall there's a good chance of bumping one's head. The dingy, rather smelly entrance and stairwell. All the windows were very dirty which rather spoiled enjoyment of the views. It felt as though the windows, doors onto the balcony and the balcony were rather neglected or not very well maintained.

The apartment was very warm and comfortable, the view from the terrace amazing, bedrooms were spacious and warm, everything worked perfectly, I would recommend this apartment to everyone I could, the host always available and kind over the phone. living room super big and the sofas extremely comfortable, there is also an “Alexa” device that was very useful, all kitchen utilities are there for you to use, no complaints at all.

the property is clearly listed as having stairs and that’s fine. I think it may be worth considering your own mobility though, as it certainly is demanding, particularly with cases or bags. The property it is within is a character property and the stairs are therefore old and uneven. it’s best to consider this especially if any travellers have knee or leg issues.

Great location, comfortable beds, good quality bedding.

We couldn’t find the heating controls so we found the flat a little on the cold side. The communal entrance was not very clean or tidy.

I love everything about the apartment! I was visiting from Germany to spend time with my family and also to work whilst I was there, and the apartment was ideal for both. All my family are about a 15 minute walk and the city centre was a 5 minute walk so I could wish for a better location. Plus there is a supermarket right across the road which came in very handy. The apartment itself was very comfortable from the bed, the sofas and just the place in general felt like ‘a home from home’. Almost forgot…..the view is stunning especially as I had sunny weather everyday of my stay. I already looking to book my next visit in the new year. Jonathan was also very easy to contact and the guidebook app is extremely useful.

The only issue I had was the apartment below and them coming home at 2am and putting music on, but you cannot help these things when you are in a property split into flats.

Climbing the stairs with the suitcases was a task but worth it once we got through the stairs.

A lot of steps to climb to the apartment but ok for us.

The property is as described. Collecting the key was easy and contact free. The place was lovely, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and there were clear instructions for the appliances and wifi etc.

Very central. Well equipped. Fabulous views. Worth the climb. Very quiet.

Parking is an issue. Free parking 15 mins walk away. Pay to park closer but it’s expensive. You need to be fit for the hills of Exeter and the stairs up to the apartment.
