Best view to wake up too. Best home made chips from the restaurant in Amed. Good snorkelling at your door step.

Still a need to curb single use plastic and other rubbish left on the beach that ends up caught up on the coral.... but that is a general problem for all of Amed.

This property is located right on the beach. They have a restaurant where you can rent snorkelling gear. You can see fish and reefs a few steps into the water. It's a very laid back atmosphere. The staff are so sweet and go out of their way to help you

No fridge in the room. This isn't a dislike though, just something you need to know in case you want to get some drinks for later.

Perfect spot in Amed- close to most of the restaurants and good base for diving! Rooms were spacious and clean with a nice view of the beach.

Small homestay, great location, room was clean, bed was super comfortable, right on the beach waking to the waves. Will definitely be back.

the rooms in the beach were amazing, the rooms behind weren’t so nice, a bit dirtier and more insects, very basic but then it is what you pay for

very moldy. the only advice was: open the door, open AC and fan. the bathroom had no window that could be opened. so the moldy air went into the bed room. the mold in the bathroom was so bad that I did not use it

The location is perfect, on the beach, the sound of the waves, and the size of the room was just right.

The bed was uncomfortable but huge, maybe just softer pillows and a thicker cover.

Few secs from the beach, proper hot shower, big room + bathroom, balcony, nice people. Good value

Very noisy. Extremely humid despite AC on ( moisty bedsheets). Over all it is a good and convenient place.

The owners were really kind and took grest care of us. The room were clean and the fishing was great !! I’d recommend this place to anybody !!

i love the Private place, far away from kuta driving by my own but this place is worth the values. i love How Ms Komang And Mr Made greeting me they are very humble person. i love the food cooked by MsKomang.

actually nothing I don’t like. but there was another visitor/guest bring a dog and that dog keep barking right on my door

the bathroom had some drain issue I think I didn’t use the sink as it kept smelling if I did . breakfast very poor , therefore wasn’t appealing to try the lunch/dinner . an effort on that would make the place much better ! but there’s lots of warungs around so that’s okay LOTS of mosquito- obviously not their fault - but could do with mosquito net at bed seems to be a second teman teman with much nicer rooms on photos just down the road. a bit confusing

Teman Teman is amazing value for the money. I stayed in bungalows across the street from the beach. Each bungalow is a seperate unit. Extremely spacious. Large bedroom and bathroom area. Large front porch. Lots of hot water and good wifi. I only ate Indonesian dishes at the restaurant but each was very good and fairly priced. Basic breakfast provided as well. There were a number of chickens in the garden outside my bungalow. I enjoyed this but others might not. This is a family run business with children about and daily fishing being done. It is not a 5 star hotel but for the money and beachside location it is an excellent value for your money. As long as your expectations are not 5 star amenities and services you will throughly enjoy your stay here.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Teman Teman in Amed.

Right on the waters edge so the view is lovely and you can hear the lap of the waves. The local life of the fishermen can be observed from your verandah. The coral is on your doorstep.

Would like to see more environmental initiatives like stopping the use of plastic straws and bags but not just at Teman Teman but all places to stay and eat.

Good size, clean rooms directly on the best beach for snorkeling in Amed

The sea view room is exceptional! Clean room, hot shower, strong AC, good wifi, blackout curtains, quiet. Restaurants, dive centres, scooter rentals and laundry service close by. I read about how the roosters and noise from the road would keep you up at night but I was surprised during my stay, the roosters sounded really far away and the noise from the road wasn’t disturbing too, probably because the washroom is in between the road and your bedroom. So you might wanna leave that door closed for a good night’s sleep. Not shown in the photos yet are the blinds separating each porch for privacy which was a nice touch. The manager, Made, is kind, helpful and always smiling. I really love that the room is right by the sea where you can wake up to the sound of the waves. It’s also super convenient to just walk out and watch the sunrise/sunset or snorkel, and the cafe is just to the left. The glass sliding doors make for a good view without letting in the mosquitoes and bugs. There’s also a public shower area to wash off sand before going back to your room! All in all, a super comfortable and pleasant stay!

It would be perfect if floor mats were provided at the porch as I was always dripping wet from diving and didn’t want to dirty the porch/room. I requested for a floor mat and it was provided immediately though. Great service nevertheless!

The location is right on Jemeluk Bay. The property is well maintained. Only sheets, towels, and toilet paper provided. Friendly owner but he is wearing too many hats. The brother owns the property right next door with an open restaurant.

The mattress is very firm. No hot water. Water pressure in the sink is a trickle. No fresh drinking water provided. Reserved based on booking ad, but not accurate.

This is a solid budget option that has all the basics. That is, a hot shower, comfy bed and good air-conditioning. You need to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper and to have your room cleaned regularly. No toiletries are provided but this is to be expected in budget accommodation. The small restaurant area has limited options, but you are surrounded by restaurants so it's not a problem. Snorkelling out the front and to the left is fantastic and it's easy walking to other spots.

Cleaning definitely could be more thorough but it's not really much of an issue.

Very close to the water and dive shops. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Covered all my basic needs. Good privacy.
