The hotel had the wow factor from the start, looks amazing from the outside and once inside…truly exceptional. The rooms are elegantly finished to a very high standard, with a shared kitchen with fridge and coffee/tea facilities to use at will! The breakfast and room were also of the same high standard and nothing was too much trouble. The owner is very attentive, had great suggestions of were to visit and eat, which was very helpful. The owner is very proud of his hotel and this is obvious by the care and attention to detail.

The host was SO nice and so accommodating. He had good advice and was easy to talk to. The hotel was lovely...we stayed in 2 different rooms since we added on an extra night. Both rooms were amazing! I would go back there again in a heartbeat!

Our whole stay was wonderful. Our host was incredibly helpful and gave us 2 excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfasts were fresh, varied and more than adequate.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

beds were a bit soft for my taste but once I got used to it I was comfortable. there was a coffee station but when I tried to get some there were no cups! A very minor quibble.

Lovely hotel just on the edge of the historic centre of Sarlat. Beautifully restored and full of character. Amazingly spacious room with antique furniture. Everything about it was tastefully executed. And a really scrumptious breakfast. Would definitely recommend to friends. Very knowledgeable host who gave som wonderful recommendations of villages to visit.

Room was very large and clean. Location was excellent.

Although we were able to find parking on the street without too much difficulty, there is no dedicated parking.

We wanted chic and cosy, and that is exactly what we found at Jeffrey’s Les Cordeliers. We loved it ! Already thinking of coming back in October to enjoy the foliage.

loved the decor. the room was a lot more spacious to what we have been used to during our travels across France. and the bed was super comfortable ! also loved the fact that there was free parking just up the street - super convenient. even in august we always found a park easily

would have been good to have a fridge in the room rather than a communal area so we could put our own food and drink in there. otherwise can’t fault anything

The property was excellently located with just a very short stroll into town. The room was exceptional- huge and exquisitely decorated in a traditional French opulent style. The bathroom was again enormous and extremely stylish. Our host was extremely welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat and what to see. We would definitely stay here again.

Jeffrey the host was very friendly and helpful, he has renovated the property beautifully. Very spacious and comfortable suites. The free coffee and tea setup on the staircase is a nice touch. The property is in a great location in close walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this to others visiting Sarlat.

There's a fair amount of street traffic under the windows because the hotel is on the corner of the entry to the old town pedestrian area.
