Loved this little town. The walk to the villa was close and easy from station. Host was a great communicator. The villa was a little dated but very comfortable.

Small complaint: Didn’t like that the washing machine was coin operated. This was not a cheap stay and I think they could include the washing machine for free at that rate. Hence did not use it.

Well located apartment close to the station. Futons were comfortable and the space was modular enough to accommodate our family of five comfortably.

The aircon was broken in the bedroom and we didn’t realize until it was too late for the landlord to do anything about it. They were really responsive and helpful, but it definitely made the stay a bit uncomfortable as it was really hot that day.

Nice and clean Japanese style apartment and only a short distance from train and bus stations. Well equipped kitchen.

It is a little expensive.

Recommended place to stay, the location was very near to the train station and bus stop, seven eleven is just around the corner, the property was clean and comfortable, the owner was fast response, overall satisfied experience.

because we travel lite from Tokyo, we didn't bring our sleeping suits, pajamas would be a great addition to this wonderful property.

Location, the villa design is really nice n clean

The tatami is too thin have to put double layer. The staircase to upper unit is steep n small. Have to carry large n heavy luggage up to the unit.

The place is conveniently located. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Hakone Onsen station. We arrived late at night, but we were able to access it with no problem. The place is more of a home than anything, and there are plenty of cooking utensils, so we cooked ourselves dinner with no problem. It's very good for family stay.

It's a very Japanese style home, so it might not be as suitable for old people with leg problems.
