Great property and location. Rooms were clean and comfortable with enough space. Amenities and kitchen were great, used the Weber BBQ twice. We would stay here again.

Amazing location right at the entrance to the park, super comfortable room, facilities to cool dinner as we didn’t want to drive to a nearby town for a restaurant, tasty packed lunch for our day in the park and great hospitality.

Very tastefully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Spa pool helped to warm us up and shared kitchen facility was well laid out.

Shame about the weather but that's the risk with a winter holiday. Very little open because of time of year so we needed to be organized with some groceries. They did advise us about this prior.

We loved everything about this lodge! Scott was so helpful and gave us great advice re activities and restaurants in Makarau. Our unit was beautiful, modern, clean and very well designed and the breakfast that Scott delivered to our room was perfect. The lodge is set in immaculate grounds and there is a shop selling high quality products. It was also great to be able to order a very nice lunch to take with us on our boat trip and walk. The lodge is in a wonderful area from which to explore the beautiful Able Tasman area and we would highly recommend it.

We loved everything.

We took all of our own food as we had a kitchenette in the room, but there is also a fully fitted out kitchen and 2 Weber bbq's for the guests to use. Our room was kept clean and tidy everyday. My husband found out that they even have a car cleaning kit, which he used lol

The room was warm, clean and a good size, had everything you needed. They also have a bigger common kitchen and bbq which was very handy. Staff were excellent and friendly.
