The hotel is located a short walk from the fabulous old town square with its many dining possibilities. The manageress/owner is very friendly and helpful. A free parking permit is provided for the parking lot opposite the hotel. The breakfast options are generous although the process for ordering the food is a bit quirky, but designed to cut unnecessary waste. Our bedroom and the breakfastroom were spotlessly clean. Overall, the hotel is good value for money and recommended.

The lighting in the stairs leading to the bedrooms is rather dull. The hotel is a former town-centre small-holding so the rooms are not that generous in size and a bit dated but more than adequate for a couple. Our bathroom was pretty small and compact.

Location was approximately 10 minutes walk to town centre.

Everything was fine except builders started working around 6.30 across the road on church which carry on for quite a while.

Wooden floor, which makes crunching noise while walking. The noise also comes from upstairs .

Run by a lovely lady and located in the old town, it was just a short walk to the market place and the main shopping areas. Our room, although a little small, was newly decorated, comfortably furnished and immaculately presented. The breakfast was the usual selection of fruits, yoghurts, meats and cheeses with bread, and the coffee was excellent! The property has a huge secure garage where we parked our motorcycle (for free), and there is even a large private bar/relaxation room at the end of the small garden that the guests can use.

It was unusually hot during our stay and as our room was at the very top of the property, it was impossible to keep cool even with the provided fan. Not a complaint, but something to be aware of. As it is an old property that's been extended to provide additional rooms, there are lots of stairs. Again, not a complaint but something to be aware of if your mobility is restricted.
