Cleanliness, location, comfort and size of the apartment were great. We even got some treats and basic amenities like milk, juice and water waiting for us. Sara the owner was very forthcoming and easy to contact and very welcoming. We had some special requests which were promptly met and solved.

At night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday the street was a little noisy, nothing out of the extraordinary. We also failed to turn on heating in living room, but that might have been our ignorance with aircon (in the rooms it worked)

Amazing location, clean and all the basics covered. We were welcomed with some fruit, local bread and coffee so we could make a our first breakfast. Amazing as we arrived really late. Communication with Sara was really good.

If anything has to be said, some more utensils and glasses ect in the kitchen. But this is a very small comment, our stay was perfect!

The location was perfect! Right in the heart of the downtown core. The place was exactly what we expected, with everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this apartment to others and definitely stay here again.

Location was excellent in centre of old town. Good facilities. Large bathroom for size of flat. Very comfortable memory foam bed in bedroom. Great to have complimentary beach towel and nice touch with basic welcoming pack. Appreciated having basic condiments for a bit of cooking. Good courtyard sitting out which made up for the small size of the living room.

Size of apartment is much smaller than photos suggested but the outside sitting area made up for it in some ways. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sit on and also as a bed. However, would still recommend it.

we had multiple absolutely horrible experiences: 1. the bathroom door - few hours after check in, my mom went to the toilet and closed the door ( not locked or anything) and the door would not open anymore. there was a key on the outside, so she took it and closed the door wanting to put the key on the inside. upon closing she realized there was no keyhole on the inside. it locked automatically with no way of opening. I called the owener and she said that she left a key in the lock on the outside as that was the only way of opening and there was no double. this this was now inside the bathroom. my mom was screaming confined in a bathroom with no windows. we managed to kick down the door after 40min of panic, cries, no air. Now, if someone alone would have been there, they would have been discovered after 6 days - DEAD! The owner knew the lock was broken!! they did not even put a sign, they just left the key in the lock outside the door (are you supposed to yell to your friends for help to open the door everytime you pee?!) 2. as there is no key, and you enter a code to unlock the door, one day, we came home midday to two men in the apartment. unannounced, apparently under the impression that we were checked out ( we had one more day) they came to measure something. one person said he was the owner’s father. they went through the entire apartment, disregarding any privacy. 3. electricity would cut out and we would have to go to the electrical panel and flip the switches back

It was easy to communicate with Joana, she provided useful information. She allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment before check-in. Coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, water, fruit were waiting for us on arrival

The location is very central. Everywhere is close by. The apartment is quite large and has a washing machine. The host permitted us to leave our luggage at noon, although check-in was at 3 pm.

Directly in front of the apartment is a bar with open air tables. Behind the apartment is a restaurant with open air tables. There's often music and loud talking until long after midnight. To keep some of the noise and cigarette smoke out, it is important to close windows, which leaves the apartment rather stuffy.

The holiday on the Azores can confidently be described as one of the best we have experienced. The accommodation has also played its part in this. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Questions before our holiday were answered quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The handing over of the keys took place late in the evening because our flight was postponed. This was no problem at all for the hosts, so that we had a stress-free pleasant start on the Azores. Despite the late hour of our arrival, the host took the time to show us on a map some shopping possibilities in the vicinity as well as some sights. The flat is very large and has really comfortable beds. In the flat there are two bathrooms with one shower each, more than enough towels - even for the beach and the hot springs. A nice big living room and a fantastic location of the flat in the middle of Ponta Delgada completed the positive picture. There is also a free parking place nearby. Also during our stay the host was always easy to reach and very helpful. All in all very recommendable.

The appartments is a great value for money, centrally located within 2-5 minutes walking distance from great bars and restaurants (please visit A Tasca, you won’t regret it, but book in advance). The appartment has all necessary facilities, moreover the host has thought about everything - from selection of teas and coffee in the kitchen to beach towels. The host has also left fruits and local specialties for us in the kitchen, which made us feel very welcomed and special. Moreover, the host also waited for us in the appartment, even though we arrived pretty late, after 10 pm.

There are rather few parking slots near the appartment and the streets are quite narrow and winding, so parking your car outside the appartment is not a good idea. We mostly parked on the main main street near the Marina, so eventually it wasn’t a problem for us.
